I had a nap on the sofa with one of the dogs for half an hour. Dinner is in the oven.
It is very hard, Mum is almost back to normal on the steroids, it is awful knowing that in a few weeks she will be back to monosyllabic and in pain in a few weeks at best. I know I shouldn't think of it but I really can't help it. She cares about me and the dogs again, the house is tidier, she is eating everything in sight, the pressure is sort of off? but not cos she needs help to do stuff - but just the fact she wants to do something is a miracle. So am quite messed up about it all really. I just hope the other new tablets work to limit symptoms.
Work - well everyone and their dog is leaving. I feel sorry for the head. About a million staffing issues. I don't know how I feel about another year in turmoil. well I do, I don't want it, but there isn't another local job. I could go on supply. BUT income irregular... affects pension, I also haven't worked so hard to built a dept and reputation to just leave when there is a glimmer of hope it might be better.
I am so glad it is the weekend. Am having a beer.Nevertheless she persisted.5 -
I work in the public sector and during the pandemic we were “key workers”, had to carry on working throughout to keep the country going and were praised highly for doing so. Now all of a sudden we are the scourge of the earth because we work at home a couple of days a week. Makes my blood boil 🤬 I’m sure you feel the same xx

Hairdressers was good, cheaper cos I didn't have a blow dry. More changes at work became clear in the work chat and if things go one way, I will resign on the last day of term. If they go the other way I won't. Feel bad doing it like that. But I must trust my gut.Nevertheless she persisted.1 -
Always trust your gut xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x1 -
I had a nap and ate a late lunch. I haven't cut the grass but frankly I am too tired and looking forward to a drink with my friend tonight. I can't be getting all hot and sweaty.
I feel very unsettled. Could be excitement if I let it be.
I need to make 1500 a month to cover the bills, ISA and loan. I could make that on Supply.Nevertheless she persisted.1 -

Since then I have been out to the pub with my very good friend, made highly inappropriate jokes about how we should just be gay and live together - it would be so much cheaper!
I am a bit scared about the coming week, not going to pretend. My friend pointed out that a couple of weeks ago I was happy in my job, but now these structural changes have occurred it is very different.
Mum managed to get a drawer stuck in the freezer. She is watching Taken Good film.
All sorted now. Mum was quite befuddled. To be honest the shelf thing has to go in so specifically it is difficult. She is so frail.
Had to get a cab home. Nice cab driver. met weird bloke in pub. Still a laugh tho
ITV have this tele sales thing on............the bloke on it is EXACTLY like the type of bloke in the pub. Too funny for words. Also such a freaking stereotype.
Such !!!!!!. really

Pleased you enjoyed your night out.
I know several teachers that have left the mayhem of schools. None of them have regretted it at all….they seem to manage financially with a combination of supply, tutoring and marking exams.January spends - £587.581 -
sorry things are a bit rubbish at the moment. Glad you had a night out - a bit of light relief. Sending love x1

Oh dear God. I have been hungover ALL DAY.
I am seriously too old for this !!!!!!.
I strimmed some of the grass but got to the point were I felt sick and shakey- strimmer not helping. I cannot drink beer at all! I also didn't drink ANY water (school girl error right there) or take paracetamol.
No rabbit work done. just napping. and now waiting for Mum's fruit cake to cook so I can start dinner.Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
