When it’s gone though, it will feel so much better.

Not sure about charity shops taking fish tanks. I’ve always listed on eBay x

Pop it on market place on FB for free, someone will come grab it, saves you the hassle.  Just tell them you'll leave it outside and you don't even need to be there when they collect.

When we moved from out lovely big house to our lovely teeny tiny house we got rid of a lot of stuff but then had to get rid of even more and now 3 years on we seem to have gained even more.  So easy to do. Especially when you have hobbies.

I tend to list stuff realistically priced on market place and if it doesn't go in a few days I'll drop it, if it still doesn't go, I'll list it for free.  It all leaves eventually.

Looking forward to hearing how the dogs get on with the buttons, I've seen serval videos and they seem to grasp it quite well.

Someone might take the fish tank off your hands for free on FB if you can’t sell. Sadly people want something for nothing nowadays.

I put a massive stuffed toy on there I got given as a joke, for free. Crikey what a faff! and people are SO rude. The woman who came and got it was nice tho. I probably will offer them for free. Give it a few days.

My room is a disgusting tip. I don't think I have hoovered under the bed for years. I don't know how, I used to do it all the time although the crappy shark hoover doesn't fit and mine broke........so maybe that is why!!!

And did I mention I have a lot of stuff?

Like so much. so so so so much.

And a lot of plastic storage.

    I need places for

    Toiletries
    Stationary
    Shoes
    Pet stuff. (shed)
    The rest of my clothes.
    Photo albums.

Looking at the photo albums I can see how I was much happier until covid, I don't think I have fully acknowledged that it was at that point in 2020 when we all stayed home (don't get me started on the ruling !!!!!!) that I just got worn down so quickly by caring for Mum and doing errands for my sister. You can tell, 1. there is no album for 2020 or 2021, 2. in 2019 one I took a lot of hopeful photos, I pursued hobbies, pictures of my plants, the animals. new set ups, toys. Even days out and food I hadn't cooked!

Obviously I know this is true for lots of people, I think sometimes I get sucked in to the BBC middle class view of covid, that everyone was at home in their garden having a fab time. I convince myself mine was ok, when in reality it wasn't that great at all.

I really need to empty the room, rearrange it and then see what I have in terms of storage. And keep stuff accordingly.

Just clearing out under the bed was such an explosion of !!!!!! I can hardly bear to think about it.

    Nevertheless she persisted.

A lot of the shed is full of empty plastic boxes, I wouldn't bin them cos I thought I might need them! Oh the irony!!

  • Wow. Only been up for an hour and already hurt my ankle (no clue how) and had the dog wee'd in the conservatory.

I slept in my room last night with an actual mountain of stuff. I cannot get to my window. The spare room has the donations in and I am annoyed as there is no progress. As in there is but there isn't as everything is still here.

My back (the muscle I pulled?) is very painful today. It isn't any better and I hurt it three weeks ago now, it was terrible at the start so I guess it is better but it is incredibly frustrating.

Ideally I would like to go to the tip and the charity shop. I need to get Easter eggs and some lamb for dinner on Sunday.

I paid my CC bill. That was depressing! No real emergency fund left. I shouldn't call it an emergency fund, it is money I put aside for the car and the animals. Regular spends that are difficult to budget for.

I have some money left for petrol and lunches and that is more or less it. But that is ok. I do really need clothes. Hmmm.

I am worried about the Queen, random thing to say I know! I hope she is ok. I am not really a royalist, but I have a lot of respect for her and how she has lived. Just on the news that she met with Harry and Meghan. I hope that isn't some kind of goodbye meeting.

I was reading about American politics this morning, that was depressing too! And stuff here is just dire. Watching the news about the climate change stuff...........maybe it really is the end of days!!!

On that cheerful note I shall go and have a shower etc. I think Tip today and Charity shop tomorrow (They might not be open today)

In other news I cleared the conservatory. You can sit on the sofa, the fish tanks after all the shenanigans is finally level. My room is a bomb site as is the spare room. but it is progress. big progress.

Mum's response was.....well you have broken the back of the conservatory.

    Ok then.
I might have said that, meaning "You've done the majority of the work" is that a misunderstanding between you?

Did you get rid of the fish tank? Would one of your colleagues want it?
