Yep Currently dying (ok exaggerating, only been ill for about 2 hours!) of food poisoning so not spending is ok. Already stopped myself investigating - blinds, mountain bike, radiator covers and monsteras.........crazy_cat_lady said:Happy New Year Buffy. Are we good to go for our no spend Jan?
And you too mothernerd. I'm sorry to hear about your mum.

I loathe that feeling of what happens next. Oh Mothernerd I hope when I go on read on the January thread there is good news. sending you love XXXmothernerd said:Hugs Buffy, this year is going to be so much better for both of us. I might have a few weeks of wading through sewage ahead of me and am still in "What's going to happen next" limbo (for those who don't know my mother was taken into hospital on Thursday evening - she's had diarrhoea for 8 days and was not picking up. Yesterday they said she'd tested positive for COVID, has a COVID related chest infection, is on low level oxygen and fluids to help her kidneys and replace what she's lost over the course of the illness) but things will work out in the end.
Grateful for chocolate, caffeine free diet coke (may need to resort to the caffeinated stuff occasionally) and books (when RL gets too much)Nevertheless she persisted.2 -

hope you're feeling better1 -
Well.........I think it is the brie. I ate it at about 4? Felt fine but fell sleep and woke up at about 6.30, felt a bit odd, then let's just tactfully say I had to get up rather quickly! It was HIGHLY unpleasant!Jellytotts said:Oh no, what did you get the food poisoning from? There's loads of sickness bugs doing the rounds, some connected with omicron I've read from friends.
