    They have 30 days to respond to a SAR. You request that info now so you have something more-detailed to work from at Witness Statement stage; if it comes before you have to file the Defence then all the better, but the template defence covers most angles.

    She sends a reminder  after 31 days with 7 days to reply , then reports them to the ICO for non compliance

    It's unlikely to receive a response before the deadline for the defence , so as I said , crack on with her defence , nothing else matters at this stage

    But more importantly she mustn't miss her defence deadline. 

    You don't sit and wait for the SAR or she will get a CCJ for not defending in time.

    It's in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post. Use that, don't send by post, don't use the MCOL Defence box.
