Congratulations Georgiana. Well done and don't panic about your theory test.Well last night I went out first time in ages, lovely fun time, watching a singer in local pub. Such a fun crowd still laughing. Think I needed to laugh.Went to hairdressers yesterday so more spending. My roots are now no longer snow white and my new bathroom is still shiny. I may go back to colouring my hair myself if I am unable to find work.Cancelled Gusty for next week, my waistline seems to be expanding a lot lately.Trying to get car insurance renewal sorted. I am so fussy want policy to be 5 star rated and cheap. Will finish my hunt tomorrow on cashback sites.Grateful forBeing alone in workLong weekend around the corner.FriendsLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/225

Evening turtles,
Not much to report, have wracked up two more NSD's (through necessity mainly). Was meant to meet a friend for a catch up last night but I told her I have a rubbish cold and she asked to reschedule as she was meant to see an older relative so wanted to be super careful.
Been walking to and from work the last couple of days which has been really nice and an easy way of getting the steps in.
Lastly, have been making excellent use of my air fryer! Goodness me it cooks so quickly, I need to remember to start dinner later when I use it. I added some air fryer recipes to the shopping list next week, I'm determined to get my money's worth lol.6 -
NSD 12 today, did not buy a thing, ended up with 3 at school (different start times of course!) and mostly happy (boys with long hair are a rarity round here, akin to seeing a Panda in the laundry powder aisle of T0sc0s, it seems). Payday on Tuesday seems a loooooooooooooong way away.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

@f0xh0les you snitch! 😂
@mothernerd the C word shall not pass my lips again until November. I do not want any elves shot.
NSD 12 today.Work was relatively quite so I did some administrative stuff like re-organising calendar, clearing emails, tidying files, etc.
Mum also came over for tea and toast this morning. I was trying to convince her to be an unfrugal turtle by booking her dream tour of Alaska. As a solo traveller, she really grudges paying for two people. I totally understand that. I think the costs imposed on single travellers is very unfair. But I also said to her that ‘you only live once’.Grateful for OH bringing home a surprise bottle of wine, for a totally stress-free work day, and lunch in the sunny garden.

Felt quite achy jawed & tired most of the day. Had a nice afternoon at work, the morning not as much. When I got home, the man had removed all the felt from the garage roof, doesn't need much plywood replacing thankfully. Had a nap, ended up with a late tea, so too late to start sewing. Did a bit of knitting instead & watched TV.
Grateful for the garage roof getting started, a nice afternoon, message from friend away in hospital to say her radio iodine treatment has gone well & she can fly home todayUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Just catching up on everyone's news. We've been away to celebrate DD2's graduation at her uni town. The online service was basically a rolling list of names (bit of a disappointment after all that hard work) but we had planned our own celebration. We met at DD's uni house for presents and prosecco, walked to campus and had a picnic and photos then walked into town and went out for a lovely meal. DD2 really enjoyed it. She said uni are doing an in person service next year! I stayed till last night and enjoyed visiting favourite places and wandering round the lovely city. Saw a c00plands and thought of f0xh0les - never seen it before and been going there for 3 years!
Today i had my car back at the garage for shock absorbers, walked there and back which meant i did 18k steps today and got very hot! Bought a pine bookcase for £20 from a charity shop and very pleased with it. Popped into Aldee for a few essentials and have had a chilled eve.
No NSDs to report, been quite spendy but bank balance looks ok. Have put a bit away for my hol and house insurance and put a little into DD2's Masters support fund.
Gratitudes - lovely celebration for DD2, a nice few days staying at a holiday cottage with DD1 and her boyfr, bieng able to pay for car in installments and interest free
Love Deni x
