Can anyone tell me what is best to use please.

I have bought a nice mirror from Habitat and it has a stupid sticker on it. I have managed to get the paper part of the sticker off but it has left the glue behind!

What should I use to get it off, you can't even pick the glue it is so hard on the glass.

I tried my star drops, but did not touch it.

    Thanks

    Acetone (nail varnish remover)

IPA (no not beer! Isopropyl alcohol)

Either on a cotton rag/cloth with few drops of water.

I have known some people to use deodorant spray as a last resort.

You could try, very gently, one of the scrapers for getting paint off window glass.

Good old vegetable oil works a treat:D Just a little smeared over, then rub with a dry cloth. No scratches, just lifts off.

Try Vaseline. Put a blob on, leave for a bit and then wipe off

Hi there  We have an older thread - sticky label removal. I'll add this to that thread later, to keep ideas together.

Lay wet newspaper on it and leave for 20 mins or so. The acid from the ink reacts with the glue.
