    Peanut butter works a treat!! I always thought people were pulling my leg but have tries it and it does indeed work!!
    Debt free = December 2010...as of March 2006 it is now January 2010..... as of December 2008 it is now December 2009 :j hopefully sooner!!
    :jDEBT FREE:j January 2012, took longer but I got there, all by myself, through sheer hard work and pride!

    Lateral thinking ;) To soften and remove the glue needs oil, so peanut butter will be an obvious choice in the absence of WD40 or baby oil :D

    WD40 is great at sticky stuff;)
  • we had problem simular on my car how about nail varnish remover has to have the actone in it hubby told me worked a trest not for plastic though

    i was gonna say, baby oil, it's also great for cleaning chrome style appliances as it gets all the finger marks off!!!!!

    (and if you get a lavender one it makes the house smell nice too!!!!)

  • I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY FRIDGE:mad:, I USED FRY-LITE, THE OIL SPRAY THINGY, AND IT WORKED:j, (WOULD'NT LET IT BEAT ME;)). FAILING THAT AS SAID BEFORE WD40, IS GREAT FOR REMOVING STICKY THINGS, HOPE IT HELPS:j

  • I second the WD40.I keep it in my cleaning box as it's great for so many things and so cheap.
  • baby oil gel and very little effort
