You need a solvent to shift that stuff. Petrol does it nicely - I always keep a little can of lighter fuel in the cupboard, as it has a neat little nozzle that makes it easy to apply.
Lakeland sell Sticky Stuff Remover which is much more expensive than petrol but smells much better! If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0 -

That's what I use. Works a treat.Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.0 -

I always use baby oil.
After you've washed the paper label off and you're left with the
sticky gluey mess. Soak a tissue or paper towel in baby oil and
then scrub the jar with the tissue.
It might take a few minutes and a bit of effort but it should come
off. Also it leaves the glass moisturised and feeling soft (only joking).0 -
I have some "Sticky Stuff Remover" from Lakeland-a little goes a long way,but before this found using a gel hand disinfectant worked well.0
