The moviprep doesn't taste anywhere near as bad as I was expecting, given th eblurb on the box, but drinking 1l is proving challenging...I have half a glass left THEN I have to drink water...500ml...
and it's started working...
I have moved the little bookcase into here, of the eight drawers in the room 7 have been emptied.
Since I will have to stay in the house tomorrow (until my friend picks me up to take me to hospital) i might get more done in between loo visits. Evening all. Sorry I haven't been posting much. We went out for most of yesterday to the NT property where I used to volunteer, and enjoyed the sunshine and decent coffee. Today I woke up at 6:15 and joined Valli in the WAC for a while, then got up and have achieved almost nothing since, except make a cottage pie for our main meal (just because the weather has been chilly) and stick the back lining of a picture frame back in place.
Rosie has got one on her again and has refused point blank to go out for a walk (too many thunder storms rolling around this area, I think) so I haven't insisted.
Hopefully I shall have a bit more get-up-and-go tomorrow!
(((Hugs))) to kaz, asb, Valli, Fayolle, YL, and anyone else in need xx9 -
Hope you prep is going ok and not too sore. Good luck for tomorrow Valli x
Another trip to DG’s to empty the water butt and to remove some staples from the staircase.
I have eaten a few phone call frogs today.

Slight tummy ache. I've got to drink another batch in the morning. Ugh.
My friend is taking me in, my mum is picking me up. She said she'd "come and wait" but I'm having two procedures so I told her to wait for my call.
ill be glad when it's over. And hungry, probably.
Well done on the frog munching Dancemum.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Thinking of you this morning Valli xx
So far I have pegged the laundry out, unloaded the DW and fed everyone including the dog and chickens. A library visit is on the cards today, as well as hopefully finishing my book. Easy pizza and chips for tea.
Take care all xx5 -
Thinking of you today Valli, and hoping it goes smoothly.Kaz, I sympathise. Why do men always, always, always assume they know more than the professionals?Helpful comments and thoughts on minimalism from other people's persepctives. I'm slimmed down my possessions so much in the last year that life is might lighter but I've taken it as far as I can for the moment, and it encouraged Belovéd to prune his belongings back during one of the Lockdowns, too, which was new behaviour and to be encouraged. If it were just us, no paying guests and no animals we'd have a lot less stuff, but still more than most households, probably I think due to the fact that we have the space - a fully boarded attic and plenty of cupboards in the house itself. There's also no doubt in my mind that anxiety plays a part in my minihoards, as well as 'stuff expands to fit the space available' it seems to me.
Better is good enough.7 -
Update from ASB cottage, a huge pile of paperwork shredded and a bag of outgrown books and clothes bagged up for the charity shop9

Morning, have been up since 5.30am although didn't do a lot..lol
Thank you for the words of support over my weight loss you don't know how much they mean to me. Especially as a friend recently said it was an expensive way to lose weight. Well I don't care and it helps me as I get the support of the group and consultant plus the FB group and all the other bits that go with SW.Anyway I've decluttered some programs on the TiVo and wrote a couple of letters. Have eaten breakfast later than normal but thoroughly enjoyed it - Skyr baked apples yogurt with defrosted berries and cherries...🙂 Will have a shower and get dressed while D is out walking the dog. Have Tesco's delivering our weekly delivery later so will unpack into various homes.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Good luck Valli, thinking about you xx
DS went out for a drink with his GF and a couple of mates last night so they stayed here. He woke me at 6am telling me he needed to go to work but had been throwing up all night, doubtful its the drink so its either the takeaway pizza he had or a bug. He is tucked up in bed here, his work were unhappy because they are short staffed, and he feels bad about that.
So DH has gone to work, and I have given the kitchen some much needed TLC. We were supposed to cycle to a favourite coffee shop when he gets back but heavy rain is forecast at 3pm. I am itching to get outdoors so we will see.
Will do a bit more tidying, cant hoover upstairs because I dont want to disturb DS. Oh the sun is coming out!9
