YL.. I doubt the interview will have gone well.. Turning up not having had a shower with greasy hair is not a good first impression.
Still not managed my blood tests which were due in December I think.. Boog hasn't managed an appointment either ..

Layla trundled all the way around the long walk I need both of us to do daily that she sometimes struggles with, so - Yay!Desk cleared by shoving everything in either the In Tray or the Filing Tray.Chiropractor phoned because my leg muscles have been giving me gyp for 28 years, ever since I bought this house. It's time to stop thinking a few stretches here and there will resolve it because they don't. I need to know what's causing this and how to stop it, as well as not be in pain pretty much all the time. It's getting worse and keeping me awake at night occasionally now so it's got to be dealt with.Brownies baked and yet again they're a disaster. I think I know what I got wrong this time, as I usually do when they don't turn out well; it's just another variation on a theme. I will master this eventually but it's very frustrating.Dining room dusted and vacuumed.Sitting room given a cursory flick with a vacuum cleaner.Hokey cokey with laundry because of intermittent showers but all the cat and dog blankets are now clean except the one I forgot that Layla digs up but never lies on anyway. Nor the ones from the car, come to think of it. Those three will make a full load anyway. *adds to list*Some stairs vacuumed.Belovéd collected from the station.A set of shelves removed from the double bedroom that were on Gumtree but didn't sell and I thought I was going to have to take to the tip. While manoevering them out of there I realised they would fit perfectly in the cupboard under the front steps which was a bit of a bu**er becauset that meant I had to shift a huge amount of gibble to get them where they needed to go. While I was at it I swept and washed the floor for the first time in 20 years, which was a big . The shelves are now in there, stacked with stuff that's been cluttering up the place in a disorganised fashion and are a useful and permanent addition to the house. It was very hard work but totally worth it, and a bonus bit of organisation that I hadn't envisaged when I got up this morning.I'm now shattered.
Better is good enough.12 -
Some epic storms here today.. I love a good storm.
Meems 'rona test came back -ve today so she is braving a walk to the chemist tomorrow for dressings for her burn and then coming here to poke cats.
I purchased birthday presents for Squeak and Pixie which we need to take on horrorday.. I used the ebeast funds which I have accrued to pay for food/fun/more food while on horrorday.. anything left over is becoming music lessons and swimming lessons and then a Christmas fund. I have £90 being added to it this week from my V!nted sales.. I am NOT organised this year BUT.. I am spending much less on the older ones and the smaller ones want more expensive smaller things so they will have to put up with little piles .. it is part of growing up! Squeak is getting my old phone with new case etc.. on top of all the HE supplies and courses she is costing a fortune BUT much less than the £900 for a new uniform and dinner money for an academic year.

Bathroom was done on Monday. Yesterday I was working on the room swap around then met a former colleague for lunch. We had lots of rain yesterday but the forecast for today is fine. Stripped my bed yesterday so the washer is on and I'm hoping to get it dry.
I'm also hoping to finish clearing DR.
I have emptied 3 more drawers from back bedroom so getting there.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Morning all..it's warming up here again. Please don't let it get too hot... Have just spent the last 45 mins rearranging the kitchen and cleaning it. Have left the washing up for Dave to do...lolAm now shattered 😂Have my support group at 10.30 this morning then I am going to shift about 10 packing boxes to the storage unit, obviously with Dave's help..lol. I suddenly decided to do some packing yesterday, as well as clean out the airing cupboard and pack stuff away from there too.How can someone have 40 pillowcases, 30 various sized towels and 15 lots of bedding, including sheets.?Not sure what I'll do the rest of the day..probably catch up on correspondence..lol. Exciting eh?Off to get another cuppa.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️
