Voyeurmse said:I’m guessing they’re pretty busy with paperwork linked to Autosec and his dodgy company escapades. Two choices really (imho) sit tight and let them do the running when they get around to it (us) or send mediation offers requiring vast amounts of paperwork and counterclaim offers. Tough one Hmm?

Good Afternoon,
Has anyone had an autosec case go to court and be ruled by a judge? I Currently have a case on going with him and it may well be going to mediation. I have solicitors that are acting on my behalf, I just thought it’d be useful to know if anyone had actually had their claim thrown out of court of cancelled by him.
Is it legal for me to publish his and his family members information and addresses?Thanks0 -
Why are you paying for solicitors (money you can't recover) for a case with this poor excuse for a company?
Regardless, if you need further assistance, please start your own new thread.Jenni x3 -

But you won't get your costs back and everyone knows NOT to do Mediation in a parking case where you are the Defendant. Oh dear, that solicitor is not going to start offering money on your behalf, are they?
This is not the way to handle a small claim from this guy, unless you get really lucky and the Judge agrees you can have your costs it's a waste of money.
I also fear for the way the defence and WS and evidence will be written as no solicitors know the stuff we know about parking cases, except @Johnersh and @Loadsofchildren123. Maybe I am underestimating their knowledge but this was never needed, sledgehammer to crack a nut and at 3 figure cost to you even if you win.
Autosec will discontinue and you will get nothing back, or your solicitor will start pointlessly wasting your money by trying to 'settle' the case, thinking that this is a real/professional parking firm. Hope I am wrong, best of luck.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

New update. I've received an email from the ICO into my complaint about AutoSec refusing to release information. The outcome of your complaintWe have considered the issues that you have raised with us and our decision is that there is more work for the organisation to do.We have therefore raised your issues with the Chief Executive, via the Data Protection Officer, explaining that we want them to work with you to resolve any outstanding matters. We expect that the data controller will be in contact with you in due course to address your complaint. One of the ICO's strategic goals is to increase the public's trust and confidence in how personal data is used and made available. Data Controllers are responsible for ensuring they adhere to the law, and the principles of the Data Protection Act, and that includes making sure that individuals understand how that applies to their circumstances, and the processing that they are carrying out.In your case, we expect the organisation to fully address your complaint by telling you what they are going to do to put things right, or if they believe they have met their data protection obligations by explaining fully how they have done so.We have allowed the organisation 28 days to consider the issues that you have raised with us, and to consider next steps in your case. Many organisations will contact individuals sooner than that, however, if you have allowed 28 days, and there is no contact at all then please let us know.

I wouldn't lie awake awaiting a reply from Autosec. Will o' the Wisp in hiding I'd hazard! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
