I don't think it is needed.

And don't worry, I wasn't offended and you weren't the first

Thank you. Really appreciate all the help.

I have received a letter from the claimants legal representative as listed on the claim form for sending documents to, stating that I should revisit the directions on the response pack as it was not correct to send the Directions Questionnaire to them. They also stated that I should seek legal advice if I don't understand the content of their letter.

I am confused! Did I do something wrong? Was I not supposed to send it to them?

Have you also sent it to the Northampton CCBC?

Your task was to email your N180 DQ form to the ccbcaq email address

Plus to opt in the email address for Dcb legal , ( or parking awareness I no legal firm is involved )

    Jobs done , tick tick

Post can be used , by these days email will suffice

If dcb legal don't like it , tough , your job is complete

By all means email dcb legal with a copy , and copy in the parking company , so I would email the DQ to both parties

The main task was the ccbcaq email , so does your MCOL claim history state that it's been received and logged ??  Yes or no. ?

If yes , plus if you email the other 2 as well , sit back and wait for your local nominated court to contact you

    Haha!

Unless they are actually talking about the defence (which doesn't have to be copied to them, but we now do because the CCBC were losing emails) they are completely wrong.

Ignore it if it's a letter.  If it's an email I'd fire back a one-liner telling the sender to re-read the instructions that come with the N180 and did they actually pass their law degree?!

But that's just me...and tongue in cheek!

Haha, I did email and post it to the CCBC and I also sent it to the address for sending documents on the claim form.

Thank you all for your reply I feel relieved now. I honestly thought I did something wrong based on the content of their letter.
  • Hello All,

Happy new year to you all. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and new year :D .

Just wanted to give an update. I have now received my Notice of Allocation to the Small Claims Track (Hearing) letter for both claims. Both have given dates, however one of the letters make mention of mediation. It states that the court believes that my case is suitable for mediation. I'm not sure what to do. From reading the NEWBIES thread it seems I should not accept this offer but not sure.
I am currently writing my witness statement from now even though I still have time but prefer to get it all ready.

    Thanks in advance all. :)

  • Hello All,

I have done my WS and wanted to know whether I needed to send it to the court before my court date next week? I have received The WS from dcb legal stating that this has been filed with the court. Not sure if i needed to file mine also?

If DCB Legal have already submitted and your court hearing is next week, it's odds on you've missed your deadline for submission.

What did your hearing order say (often on the reverse) about when to submit your WS ('all documents you intend to rely on')?  Don't forget, DCB Legal need a copy, and you can add in the PPC for good measure.
