Glad you've had plenty of syns today bubbs.

If you buy Halo Top ice cream you can have the whole tub!  Think it's 16.5 for the whole tub - would definitely use quite a few syns!

Gravy on your salad 🤣🤣🤣 but how about some mayo or salad cream?

bubbs everything you eat has to have the P or S symbol against it in the book, so basically what you have most of the time!  You still get 2 HEAs and 1 HEB but only 10 syns a day.

I know you use yoghurt for your ice cream but is it Greek yoghurt which would be a P food whereas Greek style yoghurt isn't so wouldn't be allowed on SP.  Unfortunately the website doesn't have the symbols so you'd need to check your book.  No idea why they stopped showing the symbols when they changed the website and planner.

This link might help explain it a bit better:

    Hope that helps :).

SP is when your menu is made up from Speed and Protein and no carbs/free food but the HEB. You have most days fairly close to that @bubbs as even when you do have carbs, you don't have many.

SW introduced SP as a low carb version of the plan to be used occasionally to boost weightloss (by lowering calories).

Is your consultant aware that you've never had many carbs because of diabetes, not because you've been trying SP? It could be she asked because she was going to suggest that you cut down on carbs as a way forward. 🤣

I agree that the website is confusing. It seems that they put the P or S symbols if you search for a generic item like 'fat free Greek yogurt' but not if you search for a brand. 🤔

I made a big pot of (adapted) Delia's braised red cabbage this afternoon and put it in the oven when dinner was over. Smells great.😁

Forgot to add 1 syn for cornflour in my cheese sauce for today's menu.
