Lose Lockdown Lard with Slimming World.

@joedenise it was about 3 yrs ago. I did it online even before lockdown as I’m not too joiny 😬 I don’t measure my milk, but only have skimmed and just count it as A regardless of the amount. It’s usually just for porridge (my b) and coffees. I realise I’m sounding a bit slap dash here 😦 I’ve been avoiding cheese until I lose a decent bit (as I would prefer a cheese mountain rather than a cube). Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

You must get through masses of salad stuff in a week bubbs. Food looks really tasty as always though and perfect for this weather. 😋
I'm another that has to be careful with cheese winter warrior. I love it and would eat loads. I only keep Primula, Parmesan and some grated cheese in the freezer. I can use that for cooking without going over the HEAs.
You shouldn't have a problem losing a stone although often losing a little can be slow compared with starting out with lots to lose. I'm another batch cooker. I'd prefer to cook lots of Bolognese and chilli in the SC than one meal at a time. ☺️2 -
Maman i do 🤣 and veg in the winter, over half my shopping is fruit, veg/salad probably more like 3/4, that's what i don't understand as i am eating loads but low calorie stuffSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0

Morning all,
Ate chocolate ice cream last night after a bad well stressful day at work, I have not emotional ate for a long time, I dont even think that’s my thing but I did last night, anyway the guilt got me to make celery soup, bleach my wheelie bin and clean my kitchen so a few extra steps were had.
@bubbs the food you put out always looks lovely, looking at what you put on yesterday your evening meal was probably high in calories with the roll and chicken etc, its amazing how the calories add up
B – fruit and fibre ss milk
L – celery soup chicken
D – ping meal mcintosh mince and tatties, mashed turnip
Tomorrow night I make crustless quiche and the rest of the week will be salad based to go along with the weather!

Morning all. Another lovely day. No plans for today - not even washing; DH did it all and line dried it yesterday!
We're only home for a few days and then off again for the weekend to meet up with some other friends. We're planning on going to another National Trust property but suspect we'll have to queue now that bookings are no longer needed. The booking system was good in that respect but not so good as having to plan in advance.
Plan for today:
B - breakfast hash - P; S; F
L - low fat sausage and onion sandwich - HEB; S; 5
D - pork chop; new potatoes; green veg - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; low fat butter 3
Have a good day everyone.

I will have porridge with skimmed milk, mixed fruit for lunch, and probably chilli for tea (a few points for the lazy packet mix, but all ingredients and rice will be free). Then a treat for later. I had been working my way through some fortnum & mason toffolossus biscuits (1 a day) that were gifted to me for my birthday. Sadly I ate the last one yesterday (sob), so I’m not sure what I’ll have today! We don’t go through much salad as husband doesn’t consider it a meal..and I would rather it consist of bad things like croutons, dips, prawns in Marie Rose sauce, bacon bits…not the saintly sw salads 😢
I keep forgetting about crustless quiche! Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Morning all! Welcome WinterWarrior, like others have already mentioned I like to batch cook some things, use frozen veg where I can and just prep a whole bunch of things at the weekend. For instance I know I'm going to be having a salad at least once a day for the rest of the week so I just chopped up all my cucumber, tomatoes and peppers at the weekend and chucked it in a box in the fridge. Now I just have to take a couple of scoops of that, add some chopped up chicken that I also cooked at the weekend and a few bits of beetroot or other pickles and that's lunch sorted in a couple of minutes. Sometimes with dinner, if it's something like bolognese then I'll actually throw carrot, celery, onion and maybe courgette through the grater attachment on my food processor so I don't have to chop it all. I have arthritis in my wrists so chopping things can be a bit difficult sometimes, so I'm always looking for ways to make my life easier!
For some reason today feels hotter than yesterday 🥵 went for a 5k walk at 5am and it was so humid, it definitely felt like being in Florida. Still I've now done my exercise for the day - think that's all I'll be able to manage in this heat. Ended up drinking about 5 litres of water yesterday and still felt I needed more. Just had a banana, some strawberries and a nectarine for breakfast as couldn't really face much else. Will have a chicken salad for lunch and then dinner is veggie black bean noodles with courgettes from our garden plus some mushrooms and onion. Might also make some cucumber kimchi as I find it really refreshing to eat.
