    Afternoon all 😊
Apologies for being AWOL, I’ve been away (again) I was at mum’s then I was in London. I can’t say I’ve been 100% good- I’ve not 🤣

Monday I was mostly good- I took a pasta salad (homemade- brown pasta, ham, and salad leaves, bit of Nandos sauce for a couple of Syns) to eat on the coach. Tea was more salad, chicken chunks and ready cooked salmon with a Waitrose couscous and roasted veg salad thing, with a few Popchips for extra carbs. Unfortunately supper was a Heck dipping thing and more Popchips- and breakfast on Tuesday was a Wetherspoons fry up with two sausages and three slices of toast (oops) And this was after the Nandos chicken burger, chips and coleslaw on Sunday 🤣

However on Monday I walked a total of 6.8 miles (including from Oxford Circus Tube to Marble Arch Tube) and I think that must have contributed to my 2lb loss at WI this morning! I’m pretty happy with that. I’m away again from Friday to Monday but again I’m not going to beat myself up if I have a few naughty treats. Tis the season and all that.
Another NSV Sunday. I went to a comedy show and I was wearing some leggings I had bought to wear at Christmas. I’m glad I wore them on Sunday as I discovered they were too big! They were a size 20 and when I bought them originally I didn’t think they would fit. Now they’re too big and I had to walk round Nottingham holding them up 😂 I went into Yours but they didn’t have any in an 18, but I went into River Island (where else 🤣) and they had a pair that were virtually identical, but high waisted which is better. Unfortunately they were 10 pounds dearer but I snapped them up and sold my other two pairs of leggings which covered those costs.

Getting dressed on Tuesday was fun- everything was about ten sizes too big 🤣the jeans that never fitted me as a size 24 I had to put leggings under to keep them up and my lovely shacket looked like I could get about ten people under there 🤣fortunately I had plenty layers on and I’m glad- Leicester Square was very cold!

    Todays food
    B: Bacon sarnie (HEXB + 6)
L: SW burgers, couscous, salad (2.5 for couscous and sauce) Skinny bar (3)
D- Linda McCartney red onion and rosemary sausages, fried egg, baby new pots, tinned toms, mushrooms. Blueberries, yoghurt, choc shot (2)
    S: Crisps (6.5)
    Syns: 20

Has been a hectic day and time just ran away from us!  We ended up eating out at lunchtime which was very nice and fairly SW friendly!  I had a roast pork dinner so a few syns for oil and some for a couple of very small yorkies.  It came with 4 veg - carrots, cabbage, broccoli & peas, so much more than most restaurants.

The physio was really pleased with my progress, as am I of course, even if it did cost me a fortune.  Health is far more important than wealth and just glad I could fund the treatment.

Lunch was so filling I've only had a couple of slices of buttered toast this evening plus some dark chocolate.  There's some grapes left so will have those later and take any which are left with us.

The motorhome is finally packed apart from a few bits from the fridge and the electrical stuff like wifi unit & iPads.  Will try and post from time to time while we're away but not what we're actually eating!

I see the SM veg wars have started now @bubbs!

Hope everyone is having a good day.

    Have a lovely holiday @joedenise!

I'm all for veg wars Bubbs   The freezer veg drawer is almost empty so bring it on!

No toast and jam today as it's all been eaten.  Not hungry yet so may just wait until lunch as I have quite a substantial portion of last night's dinner leftover!  I fancy baked potatoes so may have that for dinner with tuna and last of the salad bits.  Meeting a work friend for a walk and blether which will probably involve a take away coffee but it will be skinny and I have plenty syns to play with.

    Have a good day all!

    Bonnes Vacances @joedenise! 😁

Well done on your loss @MrsRyan.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I wish we still had that naughty emoji.😉 I remember saying a few weeks back that you should only buy a minimum of new clothes because before long they wouldn't fit!! Now you're having to hold up your leggings while you walk up the street! 🤣

You'll be fine without breakfast @Jellybaby provided you don't start snacking on synful stuff. I'm sure that's the reasoning rather than missing a meal per se. I tend to have Americano with hot milk when I'm out but since the 2nd HEA, it's a lot easier.

Not sure what to have tonight. I've got veg to use up and I'm thinking of some sort of hash. I'm deciding between corned beef (some syns) or ham (free) or a concoction using a tin of M&S stewed steak (also free). I'm leaning towards a cottage pie type thing using the tinned beef as its been in the cupboard for ages.🤔

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, fried eggs (P), tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
    L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), pickles (S)
D- beef hash (P,F,S), cauli, broccoli, cabbage (S)
    Syns- 0

How are you doing on syns this week @bubbs? I didn't get around to posting last Saturday so I forgot what you had f tea. 🤔

I use loads of mushrooms like you. I always buy a big punnet every week but recently I've been buying a small one of chestnut mushrooms too. Sometimes I'm lucky and Aldi wonky mushrooms are chestnut which I like best.

The chunky cottage pie with the M&S steak was OK. I thought it was a bit bland but DH loved it. I prefer the taste of my own savoury mince with the Oxo gravy. I'll have the LOs tomorrow with pickled cabbage which will perk it up a bit. ☺️

I had picky tea so having minimal during the week.

I buy as many punnets of mushrooms a week as i do cauli's 🤣 and that's more than 1!!

Don't think i'd like chunky cottage pie 😏
