Hi all
Although I’ve not been posting I’ve been lurking and enjoying all your posts. I have full access to the app again, I got my PIN and input it into the app and I was up and running again straight away.
I had an NSV that I’m very proud of on Tuesday though. I went to Meadowhall on a bit of a recce, as I’m off there this Tuesday for the Ronan Keating album signing and I wanted to make sure I could negotiate the train and tram with my rollator, and also to determine how much time I would need to allow.
While I was there I went to Primarni to pick up some new gear. Now I love Primarni jeans but fitting into them has been an impossibility since I last lost loads of weight. I took a pair of size 20’s into the fitting room, and I told myself if they fit then great, I would buy them, if not, that’s okay too, I would know where I was. I also took a size 14/16 jumper as it looked huge- and a size 18/20 jumper. I was in the accessible cubicle which is an actual room with a lockable door. I’m so glad I was- as when the size 20 jeans and size 14/16 jumper fitted I burst into tears! Fitting into Primark jeans is always a measure that I’m doing well for me. I also bought two pairs of size 16/18 pyjamas from M&S, and I got two sets of size 16/18 pjs from Asda yesterday. I sold some very sort after loungewear I had to fund some pjs that actually fit me. I knew it was a necessary evil when I woke up Tuesday morning having put on some old size 20 pj’s, and they were halfway down my legs as they were so big they had fallen down 😂
I lost 3lbs at group on Wednesday but unfortunately my friend who I go with found it again!Today’s food:
B: Cheese on toast with Worcestershire sauce (HEXA and B +4) HiFi bar (3)
L: SW chicken korma, whole grain rice (2) salad
D- Turkey Tex Mex and black bean burgers (from the Free and Easy book. They were interesting to say the least!) Couscous (1.5) salad. Blueberries, yoghurt (1) Choc Shot (1)
S: Crisps (6.5)
Syns: 19

Thanks for the ideas for mum, she likes spicy, so definitely will do something like that and the ice lolly suggestion is genius! I may also do the frozen grapes with jelly for her to pick at. Must order some takeaway boxes:)
Well done on NSV Mrs R, it will give you such a boost.A smile costs little but creates much2 -
That's amazing @MrsRyan. Great loss but I'm thrilled for you that it's showing in the dress sizes too. 👏👏👏
I use the Hairy Bikers recipe for chilli @Gettingtherequickly, it's yummy. For veggie chilli, I just add extra beans instead of the mince. I don't bother to thicken it but I'm sure your mum isn't bothered about syns. My friend enjoyed tinned peaches during chemo, slipped down easily. I'm sure you'll both enjoy the visit when it comes.😊2 -
Morning all

I've given up trying to work out why you haven't lost before @bubbs. You know that your Chinese was within that day's syns so there's no logic to it. 😖
We're having Lancashire hotpot tonight. There is fat on the chops. I won't cut it off but haven't decided yet whether to eat it. 🤔
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- veggie stir fry (S) with noodles (F)
D- Lancashire hotpot (P,S,F) with cabbage (S)
Syns- lamb fat? weekend wine😁1 -
Afternoon all, I spoke too soon the pain was awful this morning but have taken some pain killers and feeling much better again. He did warn me that it would probably take a day or two to feel better and anything up to a week so hopefully it will be OK by the time we go on holiday on Thursday👍. Will be taking painkillers with me just in case!
Great NSVs @Mrs_Ryan and a great loss. Shame that your friend found it😂.
Well done @bubbs on finally getting a loss, maybe not having picky tea for a couple of weeks and then going back to it tricked your body in some weird way!

Yes Maman within syns but wasn't having many in the week, probably less then 1/2 a weeks amount but of course much more last week.
Denise, sorry you spoke too soon and hope you soon start to feel better and 🤞🤞🤞for Thursday .
