Apologies for the late night posting 😂
Great news Denise.Hope you’re better soon Suffolk Sue.Have had a rough couple of days but I’m feeling better. Yesterday (Monday) was a better day. I had to self isolate Sunday and most of Monday after a PCR Covid test as doctors won’t entertain anyone with respiratory symptoms without a negative PCR test- I think I might have a bit of a chest infection. Test thankfully came back negative as I was climbing the walls 😂I’ve even been wrapping up Christmas presents 😂
Another package of clothes arrived today (size 20) I’m quite pleased with how they look. I still need shapewear- not to make them fit but because of all the scar tissue in my stomach, just makes things look a bit neater- but I’m particularly chuffed that I’m now wearing a 20 in the leather look leggings that previously I had to buy a 24 in as I couldn’t get into the 22 but are now too big. I also ordered my outfit for Christmas lunch- we’re going out for Christmas lunch but I’ve kept it simple- a lovely teal top with diamanté trim from Yours and some of the leather look leggings. I thought I might need room for expansion 😂
Dont think I will be weighing this week either- don’t want to risk going outside.Yesterday’s menu was:
B: Scrambled eggs and tomatoes on toast (HEXB +6 for spread and sauce)
L: SW meal pot and veg, HiFi (3)
D- Lamb ‘kebab’ with couscous, salad and garlic sauce (2 for couscous and garlic) Chocolate (4.5)
Syns: 15.5

Morning all, up early this morning as couldn't get back to sleep once DH got up!
Glad you're feeling better @MrsRyan. A definite NSV for you with the Size 20s. The top sounds lovely for going out.
Managed to do all the washing and get it dried on the line yesterday so finally had an empty wash bin. Of course there's more in there already! Forecast looks pretty good today as well.
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - Welsh rarebit - HEB; P; F
D - gammon, potatoes, veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.1 -
It is one of the stupid Low Traffic Neighbourhoods which have been introduced, residential roads are closed off at one end. The theory is that it is supposed reduce pollution, which no one actually objects to, however, the traffic is being forced into a much longer route, access to services hindered, emergency service issues and having a negative impact on small business as people can't be bothered to use them. There is one just up the road from where I work, it literally covers about 100m, that part of my journey home used to take about 5 mins on a bad day, now I am being forced into another route, it takes about 20 on a good day to arrive at where I would have been, we are still trying to work out what benefit that is to the environment.bubbs said:

Morning all. Glad to hear the shoulder issues should soon be over @joedenise 🤞 and well done on the NSV's @Mrs_Ryan
Had porridge again for breakfast today with blueberries and some honey and lunch is going to be a chicken salad for the next few days as we had loads left over from our roast on Sunday, plus DH harvested loads of salad leaves that need using up too. Dinner tonight is mushroom risotto for me as I haven't had it in a while and will be nice and comforting - it's currently 1 degree outside!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Morning all, good news about your shoulder Denise and your NSV Mrs R, great incentive to keep on track.
Just about to have bran flakes, yoghurt and remaining berries for breakfast. Think it will be tomato and red pepper soup for lunch and dinner will be spaghetti bolognaise with my second HEXA parmesan. Apart from 0.5 for yoghurt no other syns planned at the moment.
Have a good day all!0 -
Morning all, I've had a quick skim to catch up hope everyone is well.
Im really struggling ATM with a general lack of appetite which isn't like me and I was dreadfully ill at the weekend 😞 feeling much brighter now though thankfully.
Been to group this morning and lost 3.5lb so that's my half stone though as I say I was ill so I can't really take any credit for that!************************************
