evening all,
today:
breakfast: alpen light bar (3)
lunch - egg and tomato sandwich (heb spread)
tea - very late (only just eating, not like us!) pasta with tuna, sweetcorn and cottage cheese.
very light on speed today. i have however had nearly 3l of water!
had a very busy today in the garden - as the chap has changed contract he's now on 4 on 4 off so whilst daughter is away my mum had son and we spent 7 hours out there - it's by no means a big garden but in lockdown happening shortly after we moved in we ripped up what was in there and started it again reusing everything only once mr's work opened back up we lost our mojo and it has been sat 2/3rds done for a very long time. today we built a hard standing for my play lock up (one of those large plastic bin shed things filled with fun things!) and then cleared the stuff that had been dumped in front of it, weeded it, levelled it and have finally put the grass seeds down. Just a section of block paving to do (weed and level the ground and lay the pavers - only mr has restarted it 3 times since June as he keeps changing his mind on the pattern!) we're hoping to get 2/3 good days in November and we can hopefully get it done then in spring it will be a case of fill the raised beds we have built with soil/compost and add some flowers. My mum wants to get us some garden seating which would be gratefully received so next year we can sit out. We think we will be in this rental another 12months or so then look to buy hopefully************************************

Morning all. @bubbs can you cook for me too, I can never get my lasagne to look that good!
Feeling worse today - my nose won't stop running, didn't really get a good sleep, especially as DH woke up at 2:30 and couldn't get back to sleep either so was tossing and turning. Add period cramps on top of that and I'm feeling very sorry for myself. Trying to keep up the hot drinks and fluid in general today and have ALL the layers on to keep me toasty. Have a 5 minute presentation to do in a meeting later and then it's going to be an afternoon on the sofa I think. Woke up feeling quite hungry so managed some porridge with almond milk, blueberries and a drizzle of golden syrup. Lunch is lentil and veg soup and as for dinner I have no idea, will see what I fancy when the evening rolls around.

Hi all, hope you're at the turning point Ruby and the cold starts to go. Didn't make it on at all yesterday as work is just bonkers at the moment. Can't remember if I've already mentioned but I've applied for early retirement next year and I can't wait to hear if I'm getting to go!
I didn't return to class at the weekend as my dad needed to go to a walk in clinic for antibiotics so that took up three hours on Saturday morning. I badly need my hair cut so if I can get an appointment might not make this Saturday either.
Today's food:
B - 45g bran flakes HEXB, ff Greek yog, berries, HEXa1 milk in coffee
L - pea and ham soup
D - concoction from DS! chicken and bacon with veggie hash, fried egg on top
Syns - none planned but may have toast and jam for supper to use some0 -
