Well done @MrsRyan. Β That's a great loss. Β Why are you struggling? Β Is there anything we can help with?
Morning all, a bit miserable again this morning but at least the rain has stopped although think there is more forecast for later this afternoon! Β Doesn't look like I'll be getting any washing done until the weekend when it's forecast to be dry but cold.
Today's plan (which is completely different to what I had originally planned!):
B - breakfast hash - P; S; F
L - LO keema curry (which is more veg than mince!); couscous (can't be bothered to cook rice just for me) - P; S; F
D - pork steak; mash; green veg - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - ? Β may have a couple of crisp breads with Primula Light this evening
Syns - none planned
I think I'm within syns this week but the scales will tell tomorrow morning!
Have a good day everyone.

My leave is over and it's back to work today, what a shock to the system!Β Β Was lovely though and had a complete break from technology so lots to catch up on.Β I didn't weigh on Saturday morning.Β I didn't go mad but a few treats of the crisps and nuts variety were consumed.Β I'm always amazed at how sluggish and awful I feel even just a few days off plan.Β So really happy to be back to sensible and healthy eating!
Today's food:
B - 45g bran flakes HEXB, berries, Muller Greek yoghurt, HEXA1 milk in coffee
L - tomato and red pepper soup
D - pork medallions, SW chips, roasted beetroot, carrots, leeks and broccoli
Syns - 0.5 yoghurt
Have a good day all!1 -
Yes, I feel the same @Jellybaby. When I'm away from home I start craving more vegetables and I get sick of seeing cafΓ© menus where everything has either bread or pastry. Glad to hear you enjoyed your break. π
It's dry and sunny here @joedenise and we're going for a walk with friends this afternoon. I know we'll end up in the pub but I'm hoping to resist wine syns. In fact I'm hoping to cut back on a few wine syns this weekend as a gesture to staying in target range for next week. It's a big sacrifice though! π€£ Hope the scales are kind to you tomorrow.π€πΌ
I'm getting even more aware of cutting back on meat lately both for environmental,Β healthy eating reasons and cost!Β Making the veggie chilli has been really successful and I've cut way back on meat in Bolognese. Like @bubbs said yesterday about her soup, we can have the flavour without loads of meat.Β
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA1 milk, bacon and eggs (P)
L- JP (F) cottage cheese (P), spring onion, beetroot and cornichons (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- 0

Morning all!ΒThe cold seems to be slowly getting better but Iβve still got a bit of a sore throat and the cough is still there. Iβm at the stage of having coughing fits in public and feeling like I have to loudly announce to who Iβm with βthis asthma is doing my head in now!β so people donβt look at me like Iβm spreading plague wherever I go!
was still sneezing on Tuesday so didnβt go to the gym and couldnβt weigh in so will have to wait until next week now as weβre away in London for a wedding from tonight until Sunday. Not much Iβll be able to do about food aside from just try and make the best choices I can for each meal and hope all the walking will offset it!
had a mad 9pm dash round the Trafford centre for a dress and surprised myself by needing a 12 in the dress and the inevitable spanx. There was hardly any party dresses in any of the shops, itβs like the fashion buyers donβt trust we wonβt have another cancelled Xmas so theyβve just not got any Xmas party dresses in at all. Found one in John Lewis and did my usual itβs a relatively fitted dress so will need at least aΒ 16 and it was just gaping and huge. Really wasnβt expecting the 12 to fit but didnβt want to keep going in and out of the changing room so took it in just in case and the 12 was the best looking on. Iβm hoping it wasnβt just a brand doing vanity sizes but Iβll take the NSV nonetheless!ΒIt was covered in gold glitter stars and because I had to keep trying different ones on the glitter was coming off all over me and the changing room so I had to walk round the rest of the night all gold and sparkly. I looked like a right idiot!Β0 -
I'm not going to WI @maman tomorrow just weighing indoors. Β Think I've got 2 more weeks before I need to go - at least I hope I've worked that out right as then I can get away with just booking holiday for 8 weeks time and then the next time I need to go to WI after than will be the end January/early February when both my holidays are out of the way and a couple of weeks after too!
We've actually had a downpour about an hour ago but it's certainly trying to brighten up at the moment but whether the sun comes out or not can't really tell!
How about sticking to spirits and diet mixers this weekend rather than wine? Β It certainly helps with keeping the syns lower. Β It's what I've been doing apart from last weekend when I was staying at my friends!
Another one here trying to cut back on the meat and increasing the veg, although I think I went a bit too far with the keema curry last night as there was hardly any meat in it and it was more like a veggie curry! Β Very nice it was too and looking forward to the LOs for lunch today.

I used to buy those basic little cheese and tomato pizzas and add extra vegetables @klew356. Nothing like a bit of what you fancy.
Well done on your NSV @evilsquid1603. I set my target based on getting into a size 12 in a decent brand. It's not just about vanity sizing. I'll happily buy a cheap size 16 if it fits. I think some just skimp on fabric.
I will go for G&T if necessary @joedenise but I'm better off with all or nothing. π€£Β0 -
