Struggling along as best I can

SuperMoose - I wish I could dance about outside amongst my flowers but I reckon the neighbours would have a 'field' day, so a sedate meander, having a sniff and a dream of 'tip toeing through the tulips' will have to do. That last one is probably wayyyyyyyy before your time.

WinterWarrior - dgd will come and help but I think we will struggle manoeuvring it over the top of the frame, I might have to get sil/dd down to help us. It'll be fun?!

Feeling much better today, ankle is so much better, so I've been out in the garden. If it's nice tomorrow I will continue in my front garden now I have a spade. 

I didn't realise that it's a bank holiday on Monday but as I'm not going anywhere that's ok!

All my seedlings seem to be growing like weeds now I've potted them on, and its nice to see them developing and what I might be eating in a few months time, when I was down the other day I noticed blossom on the Apple tree but the plum tree is still without, so it may be disappearing later in the year - I did tell them!!! I will replacing it with another one though perhaps just a different more hardy/prolific variety.

Anyway nothing else to say, LO soup for lunch and the last of my curry for tea. Not sure about tomorrow's food but I've plenty in so something will be made.

Our plums flowered weeks before the apple. Although our apple says it’s just for decoration, never any apples!

WinterWarrior - oh no, I hope my Apple blossoms aren't just for decoration  I can't even remember if it's an eating or cooking one!
I hope you've been down to get some sea air over the bh, I read somewhere of a man who used to take his dog onto the beach and lay down with it on a mat for a while as it couldn't walk very well.

Well as I haven't been out anywhere, spoken to anybody or done very much it must mean I've had a lazy day 
I've caught up with some paperwork but got fed up so will do the rest later in the week. I have entertained 'not my cat' most of the day and just pootled about!! 
I ate LO soup for a very late lunch and had a bowl of fruit and yogurt for tea as I couldn't be bothered cooking.
Oh, I spoke the dd2, for a catchup and its beginning to get really warm over there now, so in other words it must be like one of our nice summer days!!!!  So I have spoken to somebody!

That's my life at the moment, not very interesting I really ought to make an effort and go somewhere other than my back garden! But at least I'm keeping it cheap

I rarely comment on your diary but always read as our circumstances are very similar.  Just to say full of admiration for you as I know how hard it is to keep motivated.  You sounded a little down in your last post, Hope today is better for you.

Poppy - things are fine and you're right it is hard sometimes to keep motivated but I think I've been feeling better since I have been watching the news as much and just getting on with it

WinterWarrior - the cat has been here all day today, only going home when I wouldn't let him back in, poor old thing!!!! I did have a look over the road and they have been out most of the day so I think he just takes advantage of me, feeling used
