Well had a very 'fat' tea, but got rid of the last 2 sausageless rolls and because I was still hungry made a fish fingerless butty. Not very slimming but at least I can start again tomorrow and it got rid of a couple more bits out of the freezer
When I was counting the change in my purse earlier there was more than there should have been, don't know why because it was correct the other night and I've only paid cash in one shop (the petrol was on my dd card) so I'm hoping the freezer fairy was fed up of being cramped in there and has moved into my purse - that would be exciting!!!!!!!!!

Oh, by the way it was only pennies and I've put them in my penny cauldron.1

I was about to say maybe someone has sneaked something into your purse but maybe not if just pennies. My mum used to sneak money in my bag when the kids were young, she was very naughty, bless her.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Sun_Addict - I'll let the fairy visit though, from small acorns mighty oaks grow and all that, mind you I'll be long gone before I get any amount, unless she's a little/lots more generous!!!!

I've done that with my dds at various times.

WinterWarrior - that is so true and I love ice cream - yummy!!! It's always bread and veggies, and mostly very old shaped things in the freezer, but a bit of money in my purse is very welcome.

Well I spent money again!!! £5·50 at the church pantry, but I got quite a lot of food and really pleased with it all. I will still need milk but that will be next week sometime.
Eldest dgd is staying tonight so for tea we had veggie burgers in brioche rolls and hm sweet potato wedges, we both enjoyed it and it was followed by some cake I got today. The dgd is full of cold so fed her cold & flu stuff and I'm keeping my distance and I hope I don't get it! (She's 17 so ok with over the counter stuff).
Righty off to make a drink and hopefully finish my library book.

Doing really well to come in on budget for fuel at the moment. Enjoyed your diary.nannygladys said:Today's spends : fuel £40.01
Misc smoke alarm, whiteboard and pens £6.87
The fuel comes out of its own budget which is £40, so a penny over
and the other bits are coming out of grocery fund as that's all the money I had left after over when everything had been allocated. I have a tight budget, and it doesn't leave a great deal, but I keep thinking of that canopy
and the more I can save the sooner it gets done.

redofromstart - thank you.
I don't use my car unless I have to, which I am finding is harder to do than I realised! It's just so handy to jump in the car for small journeys, but I'm getting better!! I used to just fill it to the top each payday, but with the prices going up I keep the price the same and have to do less miles!!! £40 certainly doesn't fill it like it used to.1
