I’m sad you didn’t tell us what biscuits! It’s an important detail nanny…eg bottom tier (digestives, bourbons…)? Or god tier (milk chocolate covered malted milks, caramel wafers…)?Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Sun_Addict - I love marmite, but as I've got older it gives me heartburn. But I have found that tesco own brand tastes just the same to me but doesn't give me heartburn and costs less, so the peanut butter will be interesting.

Had a good day, slept well and I managed to drop dgd at cs on time, mind you they never come to the door and she ends up waiting ages.
Then went to the lottie to have a look and picked the last turnip, some beetroot and some swedes. Came back and called in the library and came away with 5 books when I wasn't going to take any and then a quick call in the food hub where I got a couple of bits and a cup of coffee. They are trialing the drinks, so we can stay have a bit of a chat and socialize, mind you I did have to leave a bit quick as dgd phoned, she finished early and was sat outside my house waiting for me
And I managed to get my vintage sewing machine working with the help of a very lovely knowledgeable lady on one of the other threads, and that has made me very happyI will have to think of a name for her, she's very ornate so is definitely a lady!

Oooh, @WinterWarrior Caramel Wafers! I've not had one of those in ages! When I got to a gig at Union Chapel in Islington my treat is a Caramel Wafer biscuit with my tea.

WinterWarrior - my biscuits are nearly all gone, but they are lidyls own chocolate hob knobs, they are crunchier than the real ones and I reckon they have more choccie on them and I love them!!!!!!!
I also had some fruit pastille type sweets and they are nice as well, they haven't all gone yet though it's a miracle why not!!!!!!

I knew I'd been somewhere else and it was cs depot where I dropped another bag of bits and bobs off. I'm still sorting out albeit slowly, but I think I'm nearly there now£1 a day 2025: £90.00/365 Xmas fund1

Choc hob nobs sound good. I think L*dl do biscuits very well. I like their version of the Bahlsen ones too. They also do a good copy of the caramel wafers @ToonieNot all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Lidl’s cranberry and white chocolate chip cookies are amazing 😋I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Sun_Addict - biscuits are my downfall, well one of them, so I'm going to put the cranberry and white choc on my list as well!!
Had a bit of family stuff happening today but it's all sorted now so feeling a lot happier, so I haven't really done anything bar eat all day, which I do when worried.
Oh the washer managed two lots of washing and most of it went outside only to come back in when it got too windy, so it was just finished off in the dryer for a bit, and I've done a bit of knitting until thumbs started hurting too much.
I've decided to call my vintage sewing machine Lady Laura and hopefully I'm going to use her tomorrow to start making something. I keep trying to put my foot down on the non existent foot pedal, a bit like driving an automatic car after using a gear stick!!!! She's a hand crank one.
The name is part of the posters username, because she was so helpful and without her suggestions I wouldn't have got her working
