Did the weekly shop yesterday for £69.59 - all food, no alcohol, toiletries or cleaning products this time, which always helped.
Also cleared under my sink on Saturday and now know exactly what's under there - apparently that includes 9 tubes of
shake 'n' vac, i think where we'd had a leak previously everything was just shoved back in and I couldn't see see re-purchased. Good news is they should see me through quite a while.
Stepkids on and off this week, so a bit on and off with meals - which is far from my favourite way to be, but hey ho.

Been shopping today at Alda and spent £26.45, so total below updated. Still on plan and should last me a while, dgd and I had spag bol and garlic bread for tea (her choice). There should be enough left for my dinner tomorrow night, so that's taken care of.

I completely messed up today firstly by even setting foot in the supermarket when I'd sworn to last until Weds before shopping again and then by picking up what I thought were two y/s punnets of strawberries which turned out to be one reduced and one full price that someone else must have exchanged for a reduced one when they spotted the trolley full.
I, of course, didn't realise this until I got home and put my reading glasses on to look at the receipt! Grrrrrr!
Anyway that was an expensive lesson and cost me £10.08 at Mr T's which makes my new total £35.66/£124 and my average daily spend £2.97.6 -
Hi all, total has increased since I last reported. Bulk toilet roll £36, and a couple of shops now means my total stands at £122.27/£350. Need to buy some cold meat for sandwiches, blue milk and bananas but otherwise we'll be ok.Grocery Challenge 2024

Hey guys, forgot to say that budgets are all updated etc as of a few days ago.
As always, totally mucked up my budget. I have 2.5 weeks till I get paid and ideally don't want to spend more than a total of £30 in that time.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old Style, Crafting and Techie Stuff boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know.
