I am being billed £328 for 2 months by e-On after moving to a new property

    They have sent you a bill clearly showing the readings are estimated and exactly what you have been charged for. If your just going to ignore the bill and not even look at it then your just as likely to ignore any letters or emails they sent as well. 

    It's common sense you should read any bills you are sent and if you can't be bothered to do that then that's your fault as the information has been supplied to you.
    As much as I dont want it to seem like I am going back and forth and arguing with you, as you have been extremely helpful 

    I respectfully disagree, neither has this got to anything to do with common sense.

    When I first got my bill from e-On, I called them up to complain and went back and forth for a repeatedly, from the start I offered meter readings which they declined, saying they can only accept from my new supplier BULB, hence I chased up BULB, repeatedly to no avail, I submitted readings to BULB

    All I got from e-On (as I have repeatedly said) was threats of a ccj and destroy my credit history

    It was you guys who correctly advised me. Then to my greatest surprise e-On turned around and accepted my meter reading (which they had earlier repeatedly refused) and then corrected their bill LATER DOWN THE LINE

    Again its pointless going back and forth, as I have said, I have found your advise on here extremely helpful

    Yes, I mean exactly like that but obligatory on all such final statements.
    Not quite. I know that you have a thing about this but all industry-validated switch (opening and closing) readings tend to be annotated with the letter ‘E’. The key point is whether we like or not all companies have the right in Law to correct bills. That’s life.
