You are still thinking in £££ and DD. There is only 1 true figure and that is how many kWh you have actually used multiplied by the unit rate that you are being charged + the standing charge for the number of days.
Anything else based on estimates is essentially a guess.
Yes I did, I just had to let off some steam
I have gotten a dispute setup and hopefully get the bill reduced, advice given is very much appreciated. thank you0 -
Reading the meters weekly for a while will help you get a good idea of summer consumption at least. Electric readings are already in kWh, but gas readings are in m3, so once you know how many m3 you've used, multiply by 11 to get a rough kWh figure.0

Give us the meter readings from that Eon bill please - make sure you include those letters E, A and CNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Surely both you and Eon can see that it is impossible that you used 1040 kWh of electricity between 22 March and 23 March? What is the opening electricity meter reading that Bulb are using to bill you?Reed0

e-On simply don’t charge 4 times per unit more than Bulb.Ehi said

And their estimate on 23rd March of 14174 is clearly above TODAY's reading of 13628. Hopefully you have an actual reading much closer to March to use as evidence. If it had been manually entered I would suggest it was a simple typo for 13174But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Eon and Bulb are legally obliged to use the same handover readings. So if your starting reading with Bulb is 13174 you will know that Eon have made the typographical error suggested by @theoretica .If it had been manually entered I would suggest it was a simple typo for 13174
On the other hand, if Bulb are charging you for electricity based on a starting reading that is more than today's actual reading that might explain why you have overpaid them so far.Reed0 -
Well there's your problem, E.ON clearly had a wobbly moment when they decided you used 1040kWh in a single day with their 14174 E estimate.Ehi said:

There's also the question of why the gas readings start on 19th January but the electricity readings start on 28th February.Reed0
