totally shambolic.
Tried to use the support chat and it's not set up for mobiles, i.e. every time you go to type something the chat is obscured by the keyboard. Consequently lost 2 chats while hitting "back" to drop the keyboard.
Then tried to ring instead using the number provided, which auto-dropped my call. Both attempts.
Yes, my new sim is registered.
No, I won't be wasting amy more time. Can't recommend0 -

live chat in the app is in the menu, click "more" "help and support", I then chose "why isn't my SIM card working" and at the bottom of the page is "chat with an advisor for help".====3 -

EDIT - well thats wierd - i could not see the Live chat button on chrome browser but when i tried with Edge it was there....go figure. Have started a chat now to see what is going on2 -
My port was completed successfully around 3pm - so i was without any phone service for most of the day. Something people should be aware of. They told me its cos they rely on Vodafone to do the port in and the timing is out of their hands. However now its all done and everything seems to be working well.2

The title of the this thread is misleading.
Let me add some clarity - I'm guessing when the original poster moved over to Lebara , iMessage stopped working and the phone reverted to standard SMS messages - which means that images would now be sent as MMS (which costs).
I had the same issue - this was resolved by going on to lebara chat (John answered in about a minute) and then by clearing and updating my number in
Settings -> Mobile Data -> Sims (Lebara) -> My Number
(Even though my number was correct, I temporarily saved a "dummy number" and then put in my real number again)
Secondly you need to go to:
Settings -> Mobile Data -> Sims (Lebara) -> Mobile Data NetworkChange your mobile data, Lte Setup and Personal Hotspot to:
APN: uk.lebara.mobi
User name : wap

I am having huge problems with Lebara, and have not even joined them yet! We are on SIM only with Vodafone - we as in two SIMs but they are on the same account number. After seeing the MSE deal I decided to move to Lebara after giving Vodafone the opportunity to match. They offered a reduction to £18 but no lower so off to Lebara. First problem, according to Lebara was I could not get two SIMs through the MSE offer, it was one only. I explained I wanted the two on the same account - but they would not budge. I went onto their website to pay the £4.50 each - still saving £10 a month. Then the fun started. As I had started the process through MSE that, according to Lebara constituted a contract and I could only have one contract associated with one email address. They suggested I use another email address but I don't have another email address and don't really want one. They are now cancelling my (non)existing account allowing me to start again on probably Monday. But, they could not 100% confirm that I could have two SIMs on the same account number (probably should be OK) or that moving two SIMs over with the same account number will be problem free (again probably should be OK). Lebara are not covering themselves in glory and if it does not happen on Monday I will take the reduced offer from Vodafone.
Sometimes you do get what you pay for.0 -
Who is your email provider? there may be ways of generating an alias that Lebara will see as a different email address.
You will have to contact Vodafone to get PAC codes, the SMS request mechanism doesn't work when there is more than 1 SIM on the account.
Worst case is that you have two Lebara SIMS on two accounts.0 -
. You can have 2 sims on one Lebara account - I do. but they're saying only one can have the offer at the point you switch - could you switch them separately over a few days/weeks maybe?
Not sure what the issue with having another email address is tbf? Outlook/gmail are free and you only have to use it for this log in
(I've Been with Lebara for years with no issues)0
