Thanks - let's see what happens on the day then.

I think I pretty much have everything ready to submit. I'm relying on having visited the gym and got the 90 minute extension.

    I have:

Witness statement saying we visited the gym together
Email from PureGym to confirm my access code was used that day and they are unable to provide registration records for vehicles
WhatsApp conversation between me and the witness to say we were going to meet at the gym
Bank statement to show an active direct debit to confirm membership
Photo of the signage to say there is a 3 hour extension for gym goers.

I imagine the signage being too small or hard to read isn't of use here because that's not what I'm claiming.

    Any other suggestions?

Always include inadequate signage, because that is what forms the parking contract with the motorist.
If signage is inadequate then it cannot be capable of forming a contract with a driver.

    understood.

It was four years ago and I don't think I have a picture of it, so should I just get a new photo?

No, use ones from GoogleStreetview from the right year.

The WS by @jrhys and @Nosy are the best 2021 examples of how the bundle and exhibits should all look, with pages numbering and evidence, plus a costs assessment.

But of course there is now more to add to the 2021 efforts!

Happy reading, no need to panic.

Click on the usernames in blue above. They are links to the threads by those two posters. Search those threads for the witness statements and base your WS on those excellent examples.

I've had a skim over the WS by @jrhys which is really useful so will structure mine accordingly.

Am I supposed to receive something from their side in terms of what their claim is based on? If so, when is this likely to happen, as surely it's needed to structure defence arguments - I have of course had the parking fine, but is that enough?

    The pertinent dates are:

24th March - last day to pay the trial fee
25th March - copies of all documents on which each party intends to rely, to both the sides.
21st April - trial date (seems to suggest there's the option for Teams as well as in person, so would you recommend attending in person or can I get away with doing it via Teams?)

I believe there is a later example of a witness statement referencing the new Code of Practice written by @ricky_balboa.  If you are at witness statement (WS) stage, you should have already received the POC and your defence, that hopefully you have submitted, would have refuted what was in those particulars.  Your WS is in support of your defence.  Looking back through the thread, I see you posted this on 29th December 2021: -
I can see the defence has been lodged as of the 7th December
You and the claimant have the same deadline for filing (on the court) and serving (on each other) the WS and evidence.  You cannot submit new defence arguments now, that is not the point of a WS.
