Quick question - how do I know they have received my email with my defence on?

I haven't had anything back by either email or post, and I'm not sure what I should be looking out for.

You should have received an auto email receipt back from the CCBC in your inbox folder or your spam folder

Check your MCOL claim history asap , see if it's been logged , if not , forward it again to the ccbcaq email address and check for an auto email receipt in your inbox folder or spam folder

AOS is logged with MCOL but defence isn't, however I have had the automated email so I assume that's as good as a receipt of defence as that's broadly what it says (that it's an automated confirmation of receipt of email)?

Yes, keep checking your MCOL account every day or so until it shows as defence submitted and received.

Are you close to (or past) your filing date for your defence? It may be worth sending it again (forward the previous email) with a covering note that you previously filed your defence on X date but your MCOL filing history has not yet been updated, so here it is again in case the previous email went astray?

we have until the 29th December, so plenty of time it would seem - I'll keep checking this week and if nothing shows, I'll take your advice Jenni and re-send.

Quick update - letter received confirming receipt of my defence. I now await them taking it forwards I think, right?

Now go back to that list you were following when you filed your Defence.

Items 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 on that list are worthy of your further attention.
