Hi this thread has gone a bit quiet, I guess people are on last minute holidays and getting ready for term to start back up. Any how I wanted to share that I am happy with a 2 lb gain. I am happy with that as the last 6 weeks have been an emotional rollercoaster with a new caring commitment to family member and spending days and days visiting in hospital and now rehab. So all exercise and normal eating patterns have gone out the window. So I could have had a massive loss or a massive gain, but actually just a modest little gain. But thats me, thats what I am doing, I have coached swimming starting on the 14th and a trip to the lake district on the 23rd - so will need to keep fit in preparation for that.
Happy weekend to everybody.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Sorry to be out for such a long time. A fat (I use the word advisidly) lot of support I am being.
I know all about scones with jam and cream. I've just baked 4 dozen of the little beggars, plus 4 dozen cheese scones, 5 dozen sausage rolls, 6 quiche, 1 large fruit cake, gingerbread, millionaires shortbread, 2 dozen brownies, 2 dozen mini lemon meringue tarts, and so on and so on...............then there's all the sandwiches.
Yes, I'm catering for a wake. between 50 and 60 expected. It's not only to stop me eating that I need my lips sewn together, it might stop me squeaking, "I'll do it," when volunteers are called for.
No. I'm not weighing myself for the foreseeable future.
Keep up the good work, losers.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Cymruchris, what do you mean, "Not eating?" There is tasting, nibbling, disposing of bits that fall off and general quality control going on here.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Hi,
I did not weigh myself last week because I was away for a few days over the bank holiday. I have put on 1lb since my lowest (upset stomach weight). I'm totally fine about that as I'm 1lb below my target weight so I'm not looking to lose weight.
Good luck everyone, less than 4 weeks to go until the end of this quarter.7 -
Hello you lovely lot
marycanary, you have scared me saying that there is less than 4 weeks to go. That means the last quarter is imminent with Christmas, Bonfire Night and Halloween. All of those holidays are an excuse to scoff so I need to pull my finger out again.
Brambling, I am sorry to say I have put on 3lb this week. Stress eating is definitely the culprit as I am struggling with ill health and my son's mental health issues again. I am being proactive though and have rejoined WW for the umpty-ninth time although they have given me 3 free months this time so that helps. I have also bought lots of good food instead of snacks or baking ingredients and I have made a meal plan for today.
My food today will be:
b - scrambled eggs, plum tomatoes and a slice of seeded toast
l - chicken and leek soup made by my own fair hands
d - faggoty pea stew even though it is going to be a scorcher today
s - fruit, tuna and lots of tea
Good luck to all of you xx6
