Send first class via a Post Office and get a free certificate of posting. No need to send recorded, as it is deemed received (served/filed) 2 working days later. (Interpretations Act).

If you send recorded (which doesn't actually exist as a service, but we know what you mean) and the recipient doesn't sign for it (which would not be unusual for a PPC/their legal), all you've got is proof that it didn't arrive. ;)

You know where to send it from the claim form papers.   Send it first class and take the envelope to the PO and get a FREE certificate of postage.

You've already emailed a copy to the solicitors.

Thanks - defence posted to Court address + copy sent by post to DCB Legal!

In terms of forwarding my email sent to CCBCAQ@justice.gov.uk on to DCB Legal - the only contact details I can find for DCB Legal is through the below form:-

Alternatively I can forward the email to info@dcblegal.co.uk

    Thoughts?

Just send it - put the claim ref number in the email Subject, attached the file, and say in the body that a paper copy has been posted.

But as I said earlier - you don't HAVE to send them a copy of your Defence. (We are still at Defence stage, yes? Just that we're 19 pages in - which is a heck of a lot of posts for a thread just to reach Defence stage).

I sent all my stuff to their info@dcbl address. I also copied in the names of all the Dcbl employees I previously had the misfortune of dealing with.

Yesterday there was a win at court against this company. It's a very unprofessional set up and they don't go out of their way to make things clear for the motorist. The signage in the car park where the driver parked in your case looked like an A4 piece of paper. It could have been anything.

    And ,,, the claim form.

DCBL are saying the PCN is £160 ...... That simply is untruem, the extra £60 is just a scam and they have signed a statement of truth ??

As government has now banned these fake add-ons, DCBL will have a lot of explaining to a judge why they are adding fake amounts.
Sooner or later DCBL will have to explain the same to the SRA, The Solicitors Regulation Authority

When you appealed to IAS did they post images of the signage? If so could you post them please?
Hi this is what they posted on IAS.
I would go back and take a photo of this sign from where the car was parked. This is close up and it could be anything. The shop was closed and the driver was not blocking deliveries.

It is indeed difficult to understand that someone at DCBL thinks they can hoodwink a judge with such a sign ???
