I may be worth a mention that the driver was not blocking the vehicle entrance to the shop. Deliveries were still possible.

You might also want to throw in somewhere that PPL are an Ex Clamping Company.

Amended 1,2,3 - can you guys provide feedback and help complete the point in bold
1. The Defendant denies that the Claimant is entitled to relief in the sum claimed, or at all. It is denied that any conduct by the driver gave rise to a ‘parking charge’ and it is denied that this Claimant (understood to have a bare licence as managers) has standing to sue or to form contracts in their own name at the location.
The facts as known to the Defendant:
2. It is admitted that the Defendant was the registered keeper of the vehicle but not the driver in question and liability is denied.
3. The driver of the vehicle was there to pick up their 9 year old child from school and could not stop outside the school as the school is on the red route and could not leave a young child to wander around. The store was closed so no loss of business to the store at the time of the alleged contravention.
On returning to the car within 10 minutes of parking a PCN was left on the dash of the car.
The driver was not blocking the vehicle entrance to the shop. Deliveries were still possible.
Signage for the car parking is poor and it appears like an A4 piece of paper and is therefore insufficient to form a contract.
Finally its It is worth noting that the claimant are an ex clamping company and therefore…......

Should be this, NOT 10 minutes! (eek!):
...within just minutes of parking a PCN was left on the windscreen of the car by a lurking person who is believed to have just watched the driver leave and was incentivised by 'PCN bounties' by this notorious ex-clamper Claimant.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It is a good show (recent and relevant) and it also features my friend bargepole of this MSE virtual parish, at his kitchen table. Some really good advice is in it too. The programme makers worked hard to make it correct.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
