I should be including the solicitors in CC?0 -
Folks - Update
I still have no confirmation email from CCBCAQ.
Can somebody please confirm where I need to send this defence via post and who else I need to include?
Thanks!0 -
You don't HAVE to send a copy of a Defence* to the Claimant('s solicitor), but it doesn't hurt. (The CCBC will send them a copy anyway). Address for the Claimant will be on the claim form, and an email address should be easily found from their website.
Is the address for CCBC not also on the claim form?
* You DO have to send (serve on) the Claimant a copy of your Witness Statement + Evidence, later on if the case proceeds that far.Jenni x1 -

Send the hard copy of the defence to county court address listed below (right hand side) and to DCB legal (solicitors for the claimant), address right hand side.
Any preferences for sending recorded?
