Yay congratulations Haribo!!! Now you can come and do my ironing for me...you might have to wash it first though:o Well done on making all those cards - you are sooo much better at getting yourself organised than I ever will be - I am still at the "thinking about starting to plan to make my own cards" stage.
Big excitement in SnowyOwlVille tonight....a tv aerial putter inner man is coming tomorrow to put in a tv aerial (job title kind of gave that one away:rolleyes:). So from tomorrow I'm going to be goggle-eyed gawping at Nigella, and something Dancing, and XFactor (eh?) and CorrieStreet, and Enders, and errrr oh aye, Trinney & Susannah, How Clean is your House, and all those other "educational" and mind-enhancing broadcasts I've missed these past three or so years. All I need now is a stand to put the telly on, and a licence, and a copy of TVTimes. The offerings on the box had better be good after all the bother and ££££ I've been out getting it set up.
Aussie, I'm going to do the brown paper wrapping thing too this year, but will try tying them with some jazzy ribbon and making some nice bows to tart them up a bit. BTW glad to hear your OH got through the operation - bet he was scared even if he didn't let on he was. At least it's over with, and that the loss of teeth wasn't as bad as predicted.
Catowen, well done for taking control of the situation with that man. Your poor mum sounds a bit stuck with him. I hope that she sees sense when she realises the repercussions of his actions and talk. He sounds obnoxious - if he took the present from under the tree, then good, he doesn't have an excuse to call back later. You don't need to let him back over your threshold ever again. Be strong and calm even if he makes you seethe!!
Time for beddy byes.
Good night all.

I agree Snowy, there is nothing desperate or wrong about internet dating:D I think stefejb may be right and it was the weight GB was referring to
Sad to be that heavy because that's definitely life-threatening. None of us on here have any business rubbishing internet friends, don't we all consider we have made at least 1 (and I would expect for most it's a lot more:D ) on this site;) Some of us even consider ourselves friends with people that quite openly refer to us as *old biddies*:rotfl: ( Hmmmmmm maybe that is a sign of desperation:rotfl: )
Well done Haribo on your ironing and card making. You had to steal my thunder didn't you:p I've wrapped 22 presents. I'm polishing up my halo for tomorrow:A My knees have given out, because like a fool I did it on the floor, but if i say so myself, they are lovely:D ( Yep that's right , say it myself because no other b*gger will:rotfl: )
Off to bed soon, see you all tomorrow, CMxxYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

Well I can't comment, having never seen your knees.
Why don't you post a pic? :rotfl:
Off to bed soon, see you all tomorrow, CMxx

Grannybroon,
I've had a look at some of your deleted posts and I think I've worked out what you're doing. I'll be out most of tomorrow but I'll send you a pm if I get a chance.

:rotfl: Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.
