Have you tried asking for Pather 25 websave which would be 400mins (they may be able to add more on), unlimited texts and unlimited internet and e-mail for £20? I don't know if it's possible but hopefully the phone would stay the same price too.
  • do you think? will give it a try, very disappointed as the guy we were dealing with said he would call back saturday and never did then the next person was not very helpful.. will try what you said
    cheers

Maybe try ringing up and saying he was offered the same as you and would now like to take up the offer?

I've found that more often then not, orange don't put notes on the system, even though they say they do....
  • OMGGGGGG sooo unfair. SO we just rung again and the guy straight away offered

    FREE BB Bold
    24 month contract
    800 min
    unlimited text
    BB bundle
    £20 a month

Thats better than my deal now !!!!! he he pleased though
  • Was offered the following deal last night:

    Sony Ericsson Satio - FREE
    400mins
    300texts
    500mb data
    Unlimited landline calls
Keep existing and add 3 extra magic numbers

    £15 per month - 18 month contract

    Is this a good deal?????

I plan to sell the Satio for around £200 on Ebay and purchase an Iphone 3GS for £440. This way works out cheaper than the Iphone tariffs.

    Any thoughts?

Bit short on texts, but if thats what your usage is(?) then its a top notch deal IMO.
Phone is OK, maybe push for the BB 9700.... sells for a b it more, so less for iphone.

Have younot considered waiting a few months and buying the new iphone? wont be much more than £500 IMO and if apple follow trend, they will increase capacity.
  • yes where can you get the iphone 3gs for £440? i was offered a BB bold 9700 on the £20 panther (i think) 400min unltd texts unltd data and email free phone for me second phone £30 for m wife both on 24 mnt contracts went ahead with one for my wife as she was ready for a new phone and wanted a 'berry
i sent mine back and am now prob gonna leave em as i want the iphone but they dont do as many mins on their £30 deal as Vodaphone (300 to Orange's 150)
now thinking i could have sold the bold for most of the scost of an iphone if theyre going for £440- D'oh

That would be a good deal, but I hate the idea of 24 month contracts, so id go for 18. :)

£449 on the apple store, and no doubt a lotless on eBay
  • Orange sell the 3gs for £440 + £10 top up if I'm not mistaken? I'm not a massive texter so 300 is ample for me.

For the data/internet on the BB Bold they said it would be an extra £5 p/month so I thought the extra £90 over 18months wouldn't be worth the extra I'd get for selling it over the Satio?
