Three years to get debt free

Morning,
Just having a 5 minute break from work. I need to get DD some dinner so whilst it is cooking I will update here.
I sat down last night and looked at all my bills and outgoings and what I had guaranteed income for at least the time being.
I have managed to reduce bills via childcare government scheme as well as the odd bill naturally reducing. The majority of my bills though have increased. Fuel, food, etc have all gone up. I am going to have to start claiming my mileage via work now as otherwise I will be down. It will be around £25 a month I will get but worth it for me to cover the extra fuel costs. I didn't want to do it at first but now think I need to otherwise I'm losing out.
I have also planned in an emergency fund amount, some more money for DD's bank account and my retirement fund planning. I have also planned in extra debt paying and 'spends' of £250 a month. These are for things like DD's clothes, uniform, things she will need for her clubs and then the odd takeaway treat, coffee out, meal etc. I thought £250 sounded a lot but when I was looking, the things she has and does every month is more than I thought and I would rather over plan the amount and have some left over than under plan the amount and need to take money from my emergency fund. My plan is extra debt paying of £500 per month starting in January. If there is money left every month, then this can be incorporated into extra debt paying.
I really want to start the year in a much better place knowing what my goals are and the fact they are all set up to be achieved.
Shopping is being delivered tomorrow. Had to spend the £40 to get it, but it will be worth it to get the food in and know that I have paid for it already. I owe my neighbour some money for getting me some bits and pieces and I know I will need fuel next week.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Morning, I think this time of year our mind are racing with trying to start a fresh and do things differently for next year. Which is a great idea, but don’t forget to look back on everything you have achieved this year, your debt might not be as low as you would like, but your house is looking amazing- you’ve done great this year 👏👏.2

It’s been an incredible year progress wise for me.The kitchen has been completed! The living room revamped when I didn’t expect to be able to do it on my budget and around £5000 extra in debt paid off.I’ve learnt to ride a motorbike, learnt about balance between spending and saving and learnt so much about myself and where I want to be in the future.I’ve also developed some friendships I never thought I would.I know what I like as well and I’m wanting to develop this even further in the next few years.I’m content with where I am. Things can change and I have difficulties like everyone, but I’m feeling like I can tackle this debt and I can’t honestly say I’ve ever felt this confident that I can achieve something.XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I've accepted my debt situation and I am working to resolve it. I have plans to do this and they are already set up raring to go in January.
I am surrounded by love from friends and family. I didn't realise how much people cared until I have had to isolate. Both my neighbours have phoned me and text every time they have been to a shop to see if I need anything. My parents and family do the same as well. My friend has been dropping little bits off for me to keep us going and cheered up.
DD is the most beautiful soul. She told me the other day she would rather have family than presents at Christmas time.
I know 2022 will be difficult with work and changes, but I have made my goals in my head and I want to try and achieve them. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Well my good mood didn't last long! I have woke up this morning and had a shower to find it leaking through the downstairs freshly painted ceiling!
I think it just needs resealing in a couple of places as I can get my finger underneath an area of it. I will seal it all up again and then see whether it is this. I can do it this week whilst I am off provided I manage to get some sealant. I will need to get some protective spray for the ceiling though to stop the brown mark from coming through. Based on how big the patch is, it is only a tiny hole, but will need dealing with asap. I'm just letting it dry out now. If it's not that, then I will need to wait until the new year to sort it out.
Fingers crossed it is something as simple as resealing.
