Training was very cold last Monday. I’m not surprised I’ve got a cold to be honest! I’m looking forward to me bed tonight and simply being able to stay in bed x

Keep forgetting bits to add!

Ordered DD a Christmas present that then got reduced by £41. I submitted an online refund request before ordering again. Sent the item back and got confirmation today that the refund had been sent for the cheaper price. I couldn’t understand why as I requested the refund before I ordered the new one so I didn’t mix it up by accident. Contacted customer services who have now rectified the issue before they would though they checked I’d sent he right one back. They were the same item 😂 I had though as I’d taken it to my car and put it in the boot before the new one had arrived so it was absolutely the right one. Think they were just trying it on. It’s been resolved now and they’ve refunded me the full amount of the most expensive one. 

I’ve got lots of little jobs round the house in the morning. Bins need emptying, fridge needs clearing and cleaning out, and washing needs sorting. 

I spoke to my friend for over an hour tonight on the phone. Just caught up with him. Hopefully see him next week but our timetables aren’t matching at the minute. I’m helping him with some things so I know we will have to see each other next week. 

Whole restructure and staffing review taking place in work come January. No guarantee that work will give me a job come next year. It will be what it will be. I’m getting support from my friend emotionally so managing to try and forget it. It’s even more important that I mama get to clear all my debts totally.

The positives are that after December’s payment, my mortgage, including the extra borrowing, is lower than I borrowed to buy out my ex. It’s heading in the right direction!

Im hugely overpaying still. It’s now more important than ever.

Morning,

The weekend has been good so far. DD had her football game. It was freezing but they all did well. I think I need one of those really long coats though as it has been getting considerably colder standing there. 

I have started to work on the credit card and it is now down to around £560. It is getting more manageable now and that should hopefully be a lot less come December's pay. My aim is to start January with it being gone so I can then focus 100% on the loan. 

The fence at the back will need replacing next year though. It is in a bad way and some panels have come lose again. It has been temporarily fixed but I know we won't get another year out of it. It is badly rotten. 

I put my tree up yesterday and it looks so Christmasey! I love sitting here with the lights on relaxing. I haven't done the outdoor lights yet. That will come next weekend. I do need a couple more rose gold decorations to even it out, but I can pick them up today. 

Money is okay. I am selling on the selling site to make money to pay off the credit card. I have enough for the bills and to take me till pay day.

That’s good your balance on the credit card Is going down.
If there is any doubt about your job, I’d maybe hold off paying any extra to the loan Make an emergency fund with the overpayment just incase and if you job is ok then you can pay it off to the loan. 

I used to wear leggings under my trousers to keep me a bit warmer at the football. 

We had a little bit of snow here this morning but it’s stopped now and starting to thaw.

Thanks Parky, they’re doing it in January for September so I’ll have around 6 months pay when I eventually find out to save up so I’m planning on paying off until I find out either way. Hoping to also have my summer work as well. That will be great in topping up my pay for a month should I need it. 

Ooh snow. How exciting!
