I’m okay when it reaches a certain point and then I won’t spend, but it’s getting to that point 😂

Woke up this morning happy to check my account when the bills have come out to find that I’m in my overdraft by £30. The loan I’ve paid off that owes me £323 has taken its payment. It now owes me over £600. Not ideal in the short term but in the long term it will rectify itself.  

All this excitement I had too! X

The bike left today. I went to the post office and paid it straight in. I’ll cancel my insurance on Monday. I’ve left it in my account until I know it’s all gone ok in a week then pay off the loan.

living room was bothering me so bought some spray paint that suitable for fire places and it’s starting to look so much better. I’m going to phone the decorator this week too to get that done. 

Had the dessert with DD after her football match. It was delicious. 

Done the washing, shopping and a little cleaning. I need to get some more spray paint to finish off the last bits but it’s now out of stock. All in all the fire will be revamped for £50. I’ll get the decorator back in in a few weeks to finish it off and I’ve already got the accessories. I’ve had them a year and the wall paper too. I will need to buy paint though. I’m planning on keeping it below £500 with a new carpet. 

The toilet had an awful smell to it as well. It has happened before and it was because the pipe that goes out had come slightly lose. It isn’t leaking water but allows the sewerage gases back through. I bought some sealant this morning and got behind it and sealed it. Up to now it’s cleared the smell totally so hoping it lasts. It was an easy fix really and I already had the sealant gun so was just a few pounds. Last time it fixed it for a year so hoping the seal now will be a permanent thing. It will stop it slipping anyway. 

I’m relaxing with a film now. DD has asked for a pj day tomorrow. I do need to drop off some bubble wrap for My sister.

Football was cold today. I’m really tired now!

Will be nice to have the livingroom decorated hoping you can get it done within budget. 

Oh I remember the football days, just wait until the winter comes 🥶.

I must have been exhausted as I didn’t actually wake up until 9.50am. That is nothing at all like me. I am normally awake early by 6am and can sometimes go back to sleep until 8 but not often past that time. I was up a few times in the night but I’m still not used to sleeping in that late!

I’ve paid 2k off the loan. I’ll leave the other £200 until I get the £600 back from the loan company as I’ll be in my overdraft and I don’t want to be charged interest when I don’t need to be.

I’ve also kept the money for the radiator fitting out. No point paying it in to withdraw it again later this week. 

Pay day is still 2 weeks away. I’m doing okay other than the loan taking the payment it shouldn’t have. Cancelling prime membership is working as I’m not buying things anymore. There’s been a huge drop in my spending and general attitude to spending. Even revamping the existing fire rather than buying new isn’t like me at all!
