thanks for the nudge xxI love the sense of satisfaction when I’ve achieved a clear out. It helps me refocus when I’m not able to pay any more debt. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Morning,
Happy Sunday everyone.
DD has a swimming lesson today and I have a few bits to do. The weather is rain again but hopefully it will brighten up by the end of the week they have said and I can get out on my bike.
I have an exciting class on Friday doing the glass making that I love to do. I am very excited about doing this as it has been cancelled twice on me already.
Physio tomorrow and then on Tuesday I am going into work to catch myself up on what I need to be doing.
Have a lovely day everyone xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Glad that you enjoyed your holiday. We had a spider like that in the sink and it made me scream - I just wasn't expecting it first thing in the morning. I took it for a long walk down the garden after catching it in a glass and then I chucked it over the wall into next door's garden.
None of the charity shops here are taking donations, they're all full.2 -

We've had a look in a few charity shops the past week or so too and to be fair, for what some of them are charging it would be cheaper to go to Primark or a supermarket and buy new so no wonder they're overstocked. £3.50 for a vest top that asda are selling 2 for £6 for. Spot the problem....2

. I know charity shops lost a massive amount of income during the lockdowns but now people are donating huge amounts that they decluttered during lockdowns I don't think charities should be almost pricing themselves out of the market by being greedy.
There's a charity bookshop in our nearest town, they only sell books and proceeds are for the hospice so I'm happy to support them. It's laid out like a 'real' bookshop and they are VERY choosy about what book donations they take in. They go through every single one that people take in, not just the cover and general condition but check pages for annotations or marks etc. Fair enough I suppose as they charge pretty steep prices for them. The first time DH went in there for me with a huge boxful of my books he didn't really know what to expect. Good job he had unlimited free car parking and wasn't in a hurry as he was standing there ages whilst the assistant went through every single one! There were about 40 books! She refused 2 of them but it was only because they already had 2 copies of them. DH took those 2 to an 'ordinary' charity shop next door and they snatched his hand off
Sorry to hear about the fish. Hugs to DD xx. I hope your spider decides to move out soon. Maybe now you're back and his living quarters have been disturbed he'll find somewhere else. I'm not worried by spiders, I actually like them. We have a 'pet' one, well not a pet exactly but a permanent inhabitant of our house. I think he lives behind the fireplace somewhere but he has the most regular routine and we could set our clocks by his evening emergence from his lair and his route as he walks round the room. That's the only time we see him but would miss him if he suddenly disappeared.New Challenge: Tilly Tidy as much as possible in 2022. Running total to 26 Feb: £183.77

Morning
It had been pouring here this morning but it’s dry and warm now although still dull.Oh brilliant you finally getting to your glass class. My friend is always getting good stuff in charity shops but she does say cancer research is the most expensive. You would think it there was that many donations they’d sell at cheaper price to get some income and then fresh stock out to get customers back in 🤷🏻♀️I’ve did 13k steps Today I walked to Tesco and M&S so I’m in for the rest of the day do the ironing and bedding changed.Hope DD enjoyed her swimming x2 -

I’m happy they’ve gone and somebody will make money on them too.I’m having a relax in the garden as the sun has come out, but will tackle another decluttering part this week at some point. I’m thinking the Disney DVDs will need go as I have Disney plus and really don’t need them. I can list them as a job lot pick up only and see if they go. That will leave me with a cabinet free.
your house spider is funny. I can’t say he’s last long in my house though!September 2017 Debt = £25330

I agree, I’d have thought it would have lowered prices having so much stock to get rid of but it seems the opposite. I’m sure there’s a reason but it is not my logic.I don’t think I’ve hit 3k in steps yet! Good going to have 13k!September 2017 Debt = £25330
