Today is going to be very chilled out and relaxed. DD is with her dad all day and I'm going to finish my jigsaw.

I need a shower and my hair needs washing desperately. I avoid it with my wrist until I can't any more. It's at the cant get away with the bun look any more.

Payday is Wednesday and I've had a look at what was in my account and sent a further £550 across to my car loan. Most of this money was made up of winter work that I didn't expect. I hadn't planned on spending it, but left it with it being Christmas.

Hoping to be back driving on Tuesday.

Will look at changing Internet again next month when fees aren't there because I'll be out of contract. Need to cut down on everything as my mortgage is due this year and i know those costs are going up!

    Starting afresh.

Hope you managed to have a nice relaxing Sunday. Just seen the snow pics. We didn’t get any but it was -3 during the day on Saturday. Wife was in absolute turmoil thinking they were going to cancel her bike test this week lol.

The exit fees are a !!!!!! joke. I tried to do something similar with a business broadband / voip contract and had to leave it as was because it wasn’t worth it due to the fee. Now creeping into personal contracts, some of the worst for it are the broadband and the utility gas and electricity companies. Their tactics really wind me up.

It is frustrating. I guess because they tell you in advance, there's nothing you can do.

Feeling totally relieved today. We had one funeral yesterday and that's the one with the falling out within the family, so the possibility of tension. None of them turned up though, which made it a lot more relaxing and we did the best for her. The service was nice.

Money wise I am doing OK. Out of.my overdraft, which is all I can ask for.

I get paid tomorrow but I do need to do some bits of shopping.

Hospital today so hopefully I can drive from today.

They’re all at it and give little choice with contracts that run for longer and longer. My voip provider wanted me locked in for 5 years. It’s not just about the money, if service levels drop you can’t get out (B2B). Slightly easier for consumer contracts but I’ve noticed that they fight harder these days.

Really glad to hear that things went as well as they could have and I hope that you’re back driving today too.

You're dealing with it on multiple levels so probably see it a lot more and have more of an awareness. I knew there'd be a fee, but not as high as that.

    Pay day today.

Money was fine last month due to the unexpected work. I need to keep to budget this month though because there's no additional money coming in. I'm back driving again too, so I'll have fuel money. I've not been able to do things so I've let some.of the house supplies slip. I need rabbit stuff, hamster stuff, fabric conditioner etc.

What I don't need is spending any more money on treats. I think I've had enough over Christmas and we have Harry Potter world in Feb which includes a hotel, so I'll have to save for that.

Will put £500 in savings this month and pay £500 off debt. That's my plan anyway, something always comes along and changes it though!
