    Hope all goes well mate.

Ha, my son is exactly the same - growing up on one hand but on the other he's still a little boy.

    Thanks everyone.
I can't sleep worrying but know it's a necessary operation and without it, my health will deteriorate. It is also likely now that the gallstone caused the sepsis years ago as all the symptoms were there, but it was never picked up. The size of this stone means it's been there at least 15 years.

I've been keeping myself busy with work as they needed so much doing before I went off. I have made it clear that there are to be no work calls whilst I'm recovering and have my out of office on. I have no intention of doing anything whilst I recover.

Money is ok. I have had a little splurge though. I put my mileage claim in and then got a discount code for the bag I had sat in my basket for about 6 months. It came in at 50p more than the mileage claim! I thought it was fate!!!

I've been working for my summer job too and managed to do quite a lot. That will start to pay for a summer holiday.

    Goodnight everyone x

    Thank you.

I'm out and have had it done. I'm in a lot of pain though so hoping that starts to ease over the next few days.

Thanks Sun. I've just commented on your diary.

I'm looking forward to feeling better. I feel in a lot of pain but haven't needed to lie down as much today.

My stomach is swollen from the gas and operation and the bruising has started to come out. I've got four incisions, but lots of little bruises or scratches over my whole abdomen. I feel like I've overdone a workout with my muscles, but I'm hoping it will ease tomorrow and then start to get better. I can't drive for another week either so force's to stay in.

The staples will be removed in another week as well.

Just hoping that today is the worst of it and I can start to get stronger every day. X
