Another busy week. A week off work goes quicker than a week in.
I've had a full day at uni today so DD spent it with her dad. We're now at a busy shopping centre waiting for laser quest for her friends birthday.
Next weekend she's on a school trip. Typically, my summer work starts then and I have a conference on the Saturday.
I have plans with a friend though over the weekend as well as some studying. It'll be nice to have a little bit of time off but will be equally as busy as when DD is here.

I've been at that busy shopping centre as well. Is your DD at high school in September ? The summer work has come around fast again .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1

The party was upstairs though and it ended up fun.
Yes, she does. She's going to one local to me.
The summer work seems to blink and be here again. I'm very grateful I have the opportunity to earn more.

Summer work has started. I help with two parts and this is part one.
Money seems OK this month provided ex pays tomorrow when it's due.
Not sure if i mentioned I needed an operation and now have my date. It's the 10th May so this is my last full week in work. Very busy before I go in as lots of trying to get things done. I'm looking at the positives of this though. I can't drive for two weeks ish so that's a lot of fuel saved. I've stocked up on logs so that's me warm during the day so no extra fuel costs. They'll be no childcare during that period either. It's not a huge amount but DD needs some new school uniform so it'll just pay for that xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Hope everything goes well for you.
I thought our kids were in the same school year but your daughter is the year above my son. Going to high school was a right of passage for my sister and I as it will be for your daughter. My son is staying on at his school, so not sure it'll be quite the same ha - they go right from nursery to sixth form and he won't be going anywhere else. Some of his friends will be moving on - couple are planning to go elsewhere and board and there will be more kids coming in. He has a day in the senior school next month, his first - they have quite a few over next year. It's hard for my wife and I but he is looking forward to it. You made me smile re her room - we've just had all that with our son when we moved: all new furniture and framed posters. Somehow an F355 made it on the wall idk makes me feel !!!!!! old that does every time I see it - fwiw don't let her put anything from your child/ teen years on the wall you'll wonder where the !!!!!! time has gone every time you see it.1 -
I think my daughter has turned into a teen already. She's really upped her sass and has had her technology taken off her multiple times these last few weeks.alt80 said:Hope everything goes well for you.

At least his school is familiar. DD is already worried about her new school, being late, getting lost etc.
Yes, she's wanting a revamp with makeup table etc. Growing up in so many ways, but not in others. She's added a doll to my amazon basket.
I'll be fine. I've long since needed this operation and hoping it resolves so many of the my difficulties. I'll be happy to get this issue removed.
