Pay day tomorrow and I've not managed my money we'll the last week. It was going really well and now I'm well into my overdraft and will need to claw some of it back somehow this month. I'll do it. I just wish I didn't have to and would learn.
It's partly DD's birthday and Mother's Day, but overspending on shopping is another. I need to keep to my budget and not be tempted by offers. I've cut down on buying wine, too. I like a different drink at night, so have some fizzy cans instead that are nowhere near the price of alcohol.

One day I might actually follow my own plan.

    Today has been productive
     All washing done
    New bedding put on
    Other bedding washed
    Bathroom cleared
    Hoovered upstairs
    Cleaned a few bits
Removed some moss things from conservatory roof
    Found some bits to sell
Decluttered a lot of paper and paperwork.

D D has finally agreed to a change in her room. She's just turned 11 and starts high school so her room doesn't reflect this. It's got unicorn wallpaper. She has asked for me to make it more teenage like. It'll have to wait till the summer though as I've got no money extra till then to do it.

I've had some bill increases and managed to find some money to cover it. It just means paying less into savings etc, but I'll do what I need to for the time being to ensure everything is OK. I needed to find an extra £150 and I'm.almost at £100, so some money has been found. I've lowered gas and electricity and have to now make a total effort to turn everything off. Fuel Will be lower the next few months as I've got two weeks off. No childcare for a few weeks as well. I'm working from home one day as well so that's lowering fuel. I'm ensuring electricity stays low too. Today I made use of the sun and will do that now for as long as I can. No more dryer till at least October. DD had gym membership for her birthday as well. We swim at least twice a week so washing hair there. Unexpected bonus!

Just trying to get on top of things.

Had the dreaded over your overdraft limit message this morning.
Logged in to find my ex hasn't paid and that's what caused it, but I am angry at myself for being in a position this month where i relied on it. There hasn't been a month this year where it has come in when it's supposed to have done, why would I assume this month it would. I did check last week and was told tye 29th, but that was a bank holiday so it should have come in today.
I've managed to sort it, but now I'm worrying about the next two weeks.

It's just been one of those awkward months. Everything has just gone up, DD wanted to join the gym so we both had to join and pay 6 weeks up front. I'm checking where the money is and I can see its not stupid one off treat spending, not that that makes it any better.

I'm altering my goals now so that I am not ending the month in my overdraft. Got to be done.

Still so angry with myself as well.

Money came in from ex. I'm due another £50 refund as well. That'll help massively, but I still need to sort overdraft.

Today is exciting because I have a skip arriving. I love a good skip declutter.

I've had the bathroom changed so there's tons of rubbish from that but I've also got a lot of things that I've accumulated that need to go as well. I've sorted a pile out ready and that is exciting.

I've also got the new Internet being fitted today. The other one was awful and impacting on me working at home and also two devices running at the same time. They're coming this afternoon!

It's been a busy Easter holidays sor far and this week seems to be getting busier!

I love having a skip to fill 🙂

Glad the money eventually arrived from your ex but boo to the overdraft. Good idea to put something in place to prevent it happening again.

Your DD is growing up so fast!
