I had mine out 3 years ago, started out as keyhole, ended up getting opened up.  Recovery was obv harder and more painful but was so worth being able to eat things again.

This is my worry that they'll end up opening me up.

Sorry to hear you need surgery. Hopefully they will be able to do keyhole 🤞🤞

  • Thanks. It could be worse. They suspected stomach surgery as well so glad it's just the one thing!
Hopeful it will be in the next few weeks so the anxiety doesn't build.

Money is bleurgh. My ex doesn't have money in his account and he says his invoice isn't paid until the 20th so no hope of that. I've cut back for next month just in case though. I didn't this month as didn't know it wasn't coming.

  • It's been a long week and very busy and I am glad that it's the end.

DD is part of a choir at school and every year they sing at the big arena with thousands of others. It's an amazing night and DD loves it however, it's a long day for her and me. My car also went in for a service the same day and 6 still there 5 days later so it was an early start to drop off followed by a late night. Work has just been swamped with meetings and demands and upset people and an endless stream of visitors asking for help either with their own children, or ones in the school. Perhaps it is something in the water as there was an unusual amount of tears this week and its hard to manage.

I also knew the hospital appointment was coming and so felt like the week took ages until I could find out what was happening. At least I know the outcome of that.

Today DD had a lesson and her dad wasn't able to pick her up as he normally does so it was a rush home and then get her to her lesson on time.

I've checked my banks and it's not great. I'll move money out of savings. I've not spent ridiculous amounts on anything, and I've tracked shopping and fuel to see my total. It's click and collect week this week so that's in for tomorrow.

Tomorrow we have clubs and have to collect my car. I also need to pick up the ice skates from my car at the garage before I go back to the ice rink but my car won't be ready then so I then have to go back later to collect it. I then plan on having a bath and relaxing only going out to pick up the shopping.

Sunday DD is with her dad so I have some time to catch my breath.

I have done one load of washing today, one is on timer for the morning. I did the ironing before work this morning so that's at least one less job.

Payday is Thursday. Friday we break up for half term. Phew!

Sounds like a full packed, stressful week.
    Positives in there:
Choir, amazing night, although tiring for you both
As you say with the hospital, you now know where you are.
You have savings to fall back on...due to your money management
Hoping you get to catch your breath on Sunday :)

It was and still is. It's chill time from this afternoon though. I'm just at club 2 before return to the garage for the car.

Other than a sale pick up, and then a shopping collect, I've not got anything else so I will be relaxing.

I need to wash coats and empty the dryer later but that's not tons.

I am really tired. It really has been a week and a half.
