Yes it is and I'm grateful for the opportunity to earn extra.
It's been lovely too, washing is out. I'm just relaxing in the garden as I've done the work I wanted to. The fence looks lovely sat here.

Another half term done. The next one will result in the long summer and then the gearing up again for another year.
Everything has come in at once so my money has been depleted. The doors will be finished on Monday and I've booked a holiday. I have money due but not as much as is going out. There's potential to earn it in the next two months so I'll do what I can and see how it goes.
Enjoying the weather today and getting all my washing done. Bedding tomorrow and Monday.
A week off next week so bits and pieces to be done. Decluttering and selling is the aim along with some studying. This is obviously in line with DD and her bits too.
Hope everyone has had a lovely summers day xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Unexpected decluttering yesterday when DD showed me one of her drawers. It was messed up so much I ended up sorting through and that's a bin bag of clothes for the charity collection.
I've got work being done in the house today. Costly, but needs doing. Then I shall be indulging myself at a bbq.
I'm going to look at money later. I really need to start reducing the credit card. I've not been paying off as much as I should be. It'll mean reducing my savings slightly, but it'll at least pay off that debt.

My savings are depleted so I'm going to have to go back to ensuring they recoup. It's all things I've needed doing. The fence was falling down and I have rabbits, the front door handle was wobbly and the internal doors were part of the kitchen refurbishment.
The holiday was the luxury item in it all. I haven't been abroad in a few years and feel like I could indulge this year. I normally have a list of things I would like so that when I'm doing my summer job, I tick off what I have earned. This year, it's simply a pot of spf moisturiser I use, some perfume and the rest is for savings. I normally have a handbag on there and some other things, but I'm wanting my account to increase only. DD gets money from it as well. I always give her £100. My wants list, with DD's money included is only £250 maximum. I will receive that for attending the conference day so that means whatever I earn will go straight to savings.
Decluttering has started. I'll keep going with it this week.

I'd purchased this with my first bit of extra money. Spent today building it and now lying on it.

Just lay on my swing enjoying my morning coffee.
Money isn't great. There's always a delay in the summer work money coming in and yesterday I got a fraction of what I had. I need to learn not to buy before it comes into my bank as now it impacts my bank for at least 6 weeks.
It is how it is and I need to know to stop spending until it's physically here. I don't spend until I have made the money but always buy before its actually arrived.
Busy morning working and then taking DD to the park. It's a busy weekend this weekend so I need to be prepared for that as well. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

What another beautiful day.
I'm enjoying the weekend at my local concert. I bought tickets last year and it's dull of live music with the odd known music artist each night.
DD had an allocated £80 for the weekend and managed to spend all of it in one night. I've agreed to top up for jobs around the house however, will talk to her today about spending it a bit wiser. The whole price has increased hugely though and you can't take any drinks or snacks inside. They search your chairs and blankets so no chance of hiding anything either. I was expecting my exam pay prior to this so it's my savings that are taking the hit. This month hasn't been the greatest and I'm thinking those pots people have in their bank accounts might be the better option if I decide to go next year.
I was going to go for the majority of the afternoon today but it'll be later on now.
I'm sure I'll get my savings back up again. It's just going to take time. Christmas is already paid for so at least I have proactively sorted that out.
