amber03 said:Sorry to hear about your family and the horrible C. It’s affected somebody I know really well, they seemed to be doing well and then have just been given a bombshell. Praying the get a bit of good news this week. I don’t know about you but I was hoping for a better year this year but it has been one thing after another.
Enjoy your gardening tomorrow, it’s what I plan to do and with this weather hopefully improving I would rather be outside than inside.xx
I'm really hoping for another sunny day. I need to be out there tomorrow to soak up some vitamin D before returning to work tomorrow.

When I first took over the house and bought him out, I had to sell so much and cut back on everything so having balance does feel a bit alien to me.
Well the weather isn't looking great for doing bits in the garden. I desperately need to pot two plants though so they will have to be done. I've already removed all the rabbit items from my fenced bit otherwise I won't have a plant left to pot if they get to it.
I usually sacrifice a plant to keep them occupied whilst I'm planting the others, but I don't have that luxury today.
Guy with the big item has paid. After fees, it's just under £150. I'm owed £158 for other items and also refunds of £48 for items returned.
I've also been using one of the Christmas savings places. It's £60 a month and so far I'm glad I have as it's starting to build up. They now do the budget supermarkets as well as other places so I know it'll be where I'll be buying things. Just wanting to be planned and prepared.

Enjoyed a day off today. I normally study on a Sunday but I can't do anything until my supervisors return my proposal for editing.
I planted the plants I needed to, did some bits in the house and then relaxed watching a film.
I completed my law of attraction planner and sorted a few bits on my vision board.
I'm now relaxing with the log burner watching a film. DD's club tomorrow has already been cancelled so at least I know we have a night off and she will probably need it first day back. I'll probably clean out the rabbits tomorrow night if it's not raining.
Tuesday is supposed to be nice so I'll do the washing for then.

I'm still around, just as busy as usual. I finished my 15,000 word proposal and submitted it on Friday. I the started my summer work on Sat morning. It's earlier this year and another element I haven't done for a few years but it's all extra in the pot.
I've been selling for a friend on a selling site. Over 40 items listed. I've had some money from it too. It's time consuming packing up things and taking them to post so any spare time I have has been posting those.
It was my dad's birthday yesterday. I big one. We spent it with family members including his sister that is poorly. It was nice to be all together.
Money is fine too. Got some house things happening in the next few weeks. All needed but expensive. Will see where it leaves me at the end of the month.

Got my decluttering head back on at the minute.
I've got rid of lots of bags of clothes and I'm currently sorting things out. It takes ages to get rid of things.
Hopefully I'll be able to get rid of a couple more bags of rubbish in the next few days. The house certainly needs it!September 2017 Debt = £25330

Got paid today. It should be Monday but it has come in.
I wasn't happy with how the spending went. It's a mixture of cost of living and not keeping track of things. I was in my overdraft by a bit and I don't like that as part of my wages has now gone to clear it and that's not ideal.
A lot of it was DD's clubs..I've had to pay extra for two of them. I still should have been watching elsewhere though. I also paid the min payment on my CC early so that's accounted for it too, but it shouldn't have happened..
In good news, I've got £240 saved for Christmas already. I'm wanting this bit to be at £300 so that's doable. It'll buy food and the smaller family presents so I'm happy where that is. It's also reduced my bills by £50 a month.
I'm owed money from summer working already but that will be funding my new front door and the fence that needs replacing. I'll be using my savings then topping it up when I get paid. I'm earning daily from this so that's what I need. It won't cover the full cost but it'll be probably 40%.
I have bene decluttering a little but not as much as I wanted.
Work also owe my around £100 for my mileage. That hasn't come in this pay so I know it'll be next payday.
Lots coming in and lots going out. Those are the two big jobs I absolutely needed doing this year so at least I have the money for them and they're accounted for.September 2017 Debt = £25330

Feeling happy with myself this week. The fence is complete and the new front door is lovely every time I come home.
I've been on top of the extra work and I've managed to earn an extra £500 so far. That's half the fence paid for when it comes through and will replenish my savings.
Still some big jobs to do but slow and steady is how I am. It'll be OK if I don't manage to do another big job this year.
Exam season has started so that's me snowed under until July. Very grateful I have the opportunity to earn extra.

Busy day already. I has plans for after DD's clubs but managed to do most before we left at 8.30am.
Rabbits are cleaned out, washing in, dishwasher done, bins emptied. Saves me time when i get back, which won't be till lunchtime.
Got summer work to do. I've worked out it'll be just under £500 after tax when I've finished everything. That's if everything that should come in does. That'll replenish my savings and the second part of my summer work will start mid June. Not sure of those earnings yet.
Hope the weather is nice everywhere. It seems lovely here today.September 2017 Debt = £25330
