All the soil is now shifted, in parts it is reasonably level, the rain has made it heavy and clay like, so it needs to dry out a bit, I have planted some of the saplings left over from March when it did the hedge near the field.Hopefully get the wild flower seeds planted/ raked in this afternoon, got 3 boxes for £1 each, down from £6.99 each which seemed good to me.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Ahhhhh - turns out that I now have to turn my tablet sideways to see that I have messages waiting!!
Downstairs dusted, friend dropped round to lend me some bits for DD, and stayed for a cuppa, had a chat with NDN, bathrooms s&s, leftovers served up for lunch, box of gubbins sorted from under the stairs. Old roller blind from the newly plastered small bedroom has been flung - it was less than new when we moved in 15 years ago, so good riddance to that.
I’ve succumbed to putting on a jumper - freezing here.

Well it's been a busy week. Went out this morning with friends for breakfast - to Chatsworth (get me!) and we popped to the farm shop (rammed) for a nosy. £49 for a bottle of Limoncello? Found a chocolate mint plant for £2.50 so have bought that and put it in a pot. Not done much else. Oh I stripped the bed. Next week is the week I work 3 full days so I'm hoping to get some actual flying done

That's funny Kaz.
I have spent the afternoon making anew comfy cover for my garden sun lounger. Going to read and puzzle now. See you all tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
I spent most of the afternoon doing very little, but I have emptied the bins, taken Rosie for her walk and played with her, cooked tea about an hour earlier than usual, portioned up and frozen the meat I bought yesterday, and watched a bit of television (Our Yorkshire Farm repeats with very young children
)
Now upstairs in my study, ready to deal with one of the ancestors.10 -
Morning all
A lovely but exhausting day yesterday. 5 ducks and 5 extra hens settling in nicely
It has rained overnight here so everything has had a good watering. Only a small list today including sort out a new mobile phone deal - I have already found it just need to actually sign up for it - and collect some cakes a lovely neighbour has baked for us. Hugs to all, I am afraid I am keeping my sticks as that ruddy BD is pecking away at me as well.
Take care all x9 -
Morning all. You can have my sticks ASB.
Today is not going as planned. First Littleydog had an upset stomach and I'm just waiting for emergency plumber to arrive as we've got a flood from the bathroom right to the hallway. Water is switched off. Towels and buckets everywhere.
Hopefully our plans with family for Father's Day can still go ahead.Spend less now, work less later.10 -

Hi all
Welcome to the Flylady family ducks and hens
Lovely day yesterday seeing my brother and family including a big bike ride with my brother. Today I feel weirdly anxious and unsettled, almost like my brain is trying to find something to worry about, the current hot contender is picking DS2 up from Uni next weekend, bringing him home and taking him back to his new student house a few days later.
Hope you are doing OK Round it all sounds really stressful for you. And Pigpen hope the leg is getting better x
Been to the shops so that DH could get polo shirts for work and stock up on socks and boxers. I bought new PJs and some cheap earrings but resisted anything else.
Need to mealplan, put some clean washing away, and get ready for the week ahead. I could nap but that is a bad idea if I want to sleep tonight.10
