It sounds as though you need a really good rest, Ionafan. I hope you're getting one this weekend.Sorry about your plumbing woes, Jazee.*Healing vibes* for your eye, Round, and your leg, Piggers.*Fab weather* vibes heading your way, Kazwookie, especially for your beach day.(((Hugs))) Fayolle.I had a chat with the elderly neighbour who can't manage to get into her lightwells any more, and fell over the last time she tried. She's not enjoying getting older and her adult son is one of the laziest human beings I have ever come across - a legend in his own lifetime, it would have to be said - who never lifts a finger to help her do anything. I offered to sort it out for her and asked if I could put some blackcurrent shrubs down there and she's absolutely delighted, I'm pleased to say. So I've weeded it and cleared out the rubbish and dead plants, will feed the palm that's gone very yellow and when I can work out how to get all the blackcurrants round to the front of her house I'll be tickety boo. That will free up a section of the yard for this year's tomato plants and then finally the yard, sundeck, front steps and communal garden will be under control all at the same time for the first time ever. Out door flying coming together is very satisfying.I've been overdoing it, I think. Last night I fell asleep watching TV, realised I'd get a crick in my neck if I stayed on the sofa so came up to bed and switched the light off at 10.00 pm. I didn't wake up until gone 8.00 this morning which is unheard of for me. I knew I was a bit tired yesterday but that's well beyond tired. So, I'm taking it easy today, fretting about the fact that the weather is glorious today but it's going to hammer down tomorrow when I would have hoped to be repotting those wretched tomatoes etc but I can live with it for a day, and the vacuuming can wait until tomorrow when the weather's dire.Better is good enough.10

Nothing of any consequence going on here. Usual wm x1 and HHI, plus a couple of WUDUPA. 2 cakes made, 1 rhubarb crumble, a loaf of bread and some cooked rhubarb for the week plus 1 for the non existent freezer space. I did manage an hour or so in the gh, but didn’t pot up the outside plants yet again as it has been mizzling all day.
DD has been out all day in the big city with a friend who drove them there. I have been anxious all day and won’t settle until they get back safely. Hugs to all fellow worriers. Sticks thrown for the pesky black dogs.
