Pigpen, please rest up if you can, would a cold pack on it help?Very hot hereBeen to volunteering gardening for 1.5 hours, OH said he would be ok, and he was, thank goodness.General stuff here again today. In theory 5 tonnes of top soil being delivered tomorrow, it seems this area is due the major thunder shower and rain, so it should be fun moving all that.HugsBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Kaz.. I have had ice packs on it a few times but anything touching it is so painful. I did the school run just to keep moving really.. sitting constantly will have an effect on the circulation and I don't need that. So I am tryign to keep mobile without doing huge amounts.
I didn't get the washing hung out because it means wearing shoes because the floor is hot and shoes hurt lots.
OH sent to pick up prescription, post parcels and ask at opticians about Twinkles eye test.
Boog missed a hosital appointment.. only a phone one but still.. idiot!
I have 4 ebeast parcels to package up.. OH will be pleased!

Piggers - if you are taking Antibiotics, can I suggest you pick up some probiotic yoghurt drinks or similar. They really help to balance everything in your gut when taking Anti-Bs, and massively reduce the risk of *that* problem us ladies can have which is also the name of a bird.... Look after yourself xx
Lots done today in a really nice way. Actually felt happy today for the first time in a while xx

Six hours done in the garden and the big stuff is now finished in the garden itself. The tomatoes, however, are still not repotted. Foodbank tomorrow so that's another day they won't be done, but I can at last get at the compost so there's a possibility they may be done on Friday. (And I've spied somewhere else I may be able to purloin if the neighbour wants me to; I may ask her when I think the vibes are right.)
Better is good enough.6 -

I am beyond tired, my brain is no longer functioning. Not a bad day at the paid stuff though, its been very hot in the office though.
Washing dried outside, shepherds pie made for DH, I had some leftover dhal.
Pleased that you are happy ASB!
Off to update my shopping order.7 -
Morning, yesterday was very very hot so not much got done, but didn't make a mess either
We had thunder and rain overnight so nicer this morning but forecast to get very hot again (well over 30) ad then big storms starting late afternoon or early evening. I'm at work 10 - 3 and it's comfortable in the room I use, so just hoping to be home before heavy rain starts.
Bed stripped and in WM
DW loaded and on
All the windows open to cool house down
Have a good day9 -
Morning all - an earlier start for us today as it's tidy-up and pack away time. Dirty washing in one case, and clean stuff in the other, will make life easier when we get home. On the way we're planning a bit of a detour to another NT property that we've never visited before, so might manage another cream tea. It will be only our second of the week, and we have managed to be tempted by ice cream on only some of the other days - which is quite an achievement
I hope the meds are beginning to take effect, pigpen
(((Hugs))) to round, Fayolle, kaz, dancemum, YL, asb, Dancemum, and everyone else in need
Normal Flying will be resumed tomorrow xx

Enjoy Iona x
Groggy and a bit headachy here, even though it started raining overnight so it is cooler. Pouring down so I swapped the morning jog for an indoor exercise class.
Shower and breakfast next, out for a meeting at 10am, lots of paid stuff to do. WFH after my meeting so can fly a little.8 -
Morning all,
No rain here, just overcast, but all the windows are still open as it is warm.
The plasterer returns today for day 2 of the small bedroom. Then he moves to start the landing tomorrow.
DD wants us to go out together again today which will involve more money and petrol. Grump. DH is being a pita - tomorrow morning I actually have to be in 3 places at once, due to his pita-ness. This may prove interesting.
Bed stripped and bedding in the wm. Dinner out of freezer to make a curry - Christmas turkey anyone?? I still have some shopping to put away from the Mr M delivery. While I appreciate their speedy refunds of undelivered but charged for items, I really would just like what I’ve ordered to actually turn up without having to complain each time. Very little other flying planned, due to anticipated plaster dust. I know, I know, that may just be a convenient excuse 😉.
Have a lovely day, Iona.
Hope you are feeling better, Pigpen.
Hugs to all those in need, especially Kaz x10
