Had a look at the street view of that property, and its end-of-terrace rather than semi-detached!!

If that fan is loud, replace it with a quieter one.
If you want to have a bath, the light again has to be on which is not really very relaxing

Or install an isolator switch (if it doesn't already have one) and then you have the option of a quiet bath.

One of our shower rooms is internal so does not have a window but a good extractor fan.  What would put me off your house is a toilet coming straight off a dining room.
That and the stairs in the lounge.  Two absolute no-nos in my book.

I always see this said, but no one ever says why - whats wrong with stairs off the lounge?

But without an open window a nice relaxing bath turns into an uncomfortable sauna when the weather is hot.

Heat and noise go straight upstairs. Unnecessary disturbance for whoever is in the living room whenever somebody else goes up/downstairs. Less flexibility to use the living room for another purpose.

I currently live in a flat with no bathroom window and tbh it is a really depressing place to be. Remember that means no natural light AT ALL so you always have to turn on the light (even if you get up for a wee in the night otherwise wee with the door open to let in some light from the hall window) which turns the fan on which is loud and irritating. If you want to have a bath, the light again has to be on which is not really very relaxing and you can’t have any plants in the bathroom either.

These things may not matter to you but I wouldn’t move anywhere else without a window in the bathroom.

Your particular problem is easily solved with these (or similar):

We do have a bathroom window but even so a tiny bit of extra light is useful, and like you I don't want to turn on the bright main lights in the middle of the night or trigger the fan, so we have one of these just stuck to the skirting board by the loo with a command strip.

They're very useful & I bought similar when we moved recently as parts of our new home were pitch black at night.

Sadly, no use in a bathroom or toilet as there's no socket to plug into ;)
