Dealer misrepresented mileage

Having just bought a second hand car I would say dishonest car adverts at dealers are very much the norm. The commonest one at the moment was FSH. 2020 and 2021 would be missing. How can it be FSH but 2 services are missing? Well it was the pandemic wasn't it?0

FSH= full service history. This actually means there is a full record of all services carried out, not that every required service has been done to time/distance (which is what people think it means).
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(Full & Partial) Your 60,000 miler would have been advertised as PSH.I doubt if even Arthur Daley would claim it was FSH today though
Nowadays you don't see PSH any more, and FSH simply means they have all the service records. The AA still think FSH means every service done on time by a manufacturer approved service centreAutoexpress use the "new" definition that FSH is a complete record of what maintenance has been done

Manufacturers have allowed services to be missed during the pandemic in that they will honour the warranty - certainly true to what I've heard at PSA.
Besides which, with dynamic servicing, Ford told my wife that her Edge didn't need servicing until her car told her that it did. Personally I kept ahead of service schedules with the Mazda.0
